So we went to the Rococo last night for the Nick Swardson show. Opening act and Nick were a great show. But don’t expect to stay around and be able to have your drink or finish your drink. Not even two minutes after clapping for Nick and Nick leaving the stage. Security was already telling people they needed to exit the building, please move forward towards the doors. It’s time to leave. When security guard was told hey the show just got over we still have to finish our drinks,We just bought security said I don’t care. I need to go to a second job. Everybody needs to exit the building. then decided to yell like a blow horn that everybody needed to leave. You couldn’t even drink that drink you bought because they didn’t close the bar down knowing when the show ended they were pretty much trying to rip you off letting you buy drinks and then kicking you out with a opened drink that you just started and couldn’t leave with. Staff was telling everyone to throw their drinks away . Also, the security was yelling and I even saw them push a gentleman out the door because they were getting questioned on why we were at getting pushed out the door minutes after the show. Very unprofessional of security and staff. I’ve been there before, but I will not go back after this experience , we are going there for a comedy show and try to enjoy our evening just to end up being ruined by security and staff because they had to leave and go to...
Read moreThis is a beautiful theater whose interior reminded me of a medieval castle. We had chosen tickets for Loge I 00 seats 3 and 4. I was glad we were the only two at that table because the seats on the right side of the table were dangerously close to a step down to the next level.
While it was nice to have bathrooms upstairs, be cautious when opening the doors and seeing the stairs below. The ladies' restroom was very dark; the seats were so high my feet dangled about a foot off the floor; the seats were very cold; and, another patron noted no matter how long she had run the water to get warm water, she never received it.
The seats we had in the Loge section were nice and comfortable with good views. My chair rocked sometimes, and when I reached underneath to help pull it forward, I found gum underneath. Our table had what felt like crusty food on it. I also kicked out from under the table what appeared to be a large...
Read moreSpent New Years at the Rococo, won't do that again. They charge $90.00 per couple for a band. That's it, a band. No food was available even for purchase. The drinks were $9.00 and $6.00 for a beer. We were told when purchasing the tickets that yes, you can sit together, but the tables seat 4 at the $90 rate, we had 6 in our party and my husband and I had to sit with our backs facing our group with two total strangers at a table. I won't spend $90 for tickets to have them tell me where I will sit and no effort to accommodate. I asked if we could adjust and was rudely told by the owner that the seats are bought by the seat not the table. She was rude, snappish and never even got up from her chair to see if she could accommodate. So buyer beware when you purchase things from Rococo to get ALL the facts before handing over your...
