So as a wheelchair user, I noticed this business before I even knew what kind of business it was because the owners were adding on a concrete wheelchair accessible ramp entrance to the front of the store. It was like a "if you build it, I will come" moment for me but then covid-19 hit. Finally fully vaccinated, myself, and able-bodied friend and another wheelchair using friend patronized this cocktail bar. When I entered the first thing I asked the bartender Devin was "Are we the first wheelchair using patrons?" Devin gave me a disappointing "no" but that didn't really matter, I just wanted to be first LOL Many drinks are respectfully priced at $11 and $12 with unorthodox unique liquor combinations tasty and super potent! Devin is a very accommodating bartender also as he would serve drinks in glasses more wheelchair friendly. NOTICE:...

Dimly lit & cozy, backlit bar shelves with spirits arranged by color, and lovely stained glass inserts in the ceiling...this place doubles as an art form! If you haven't tried you had better get in there, because it will keep you...

Lincoln certainly needs more place like Kate Martin that are locally run and share a piece of the city and state's often overlooked history. My favorite menu item is the "Warren Buffet" but everything I have tried has been excellent. If you don't see a drink that jumps out at you, I know the bartender/s are willing to ask you questions about flavors and preferences to build a drink specific to you! Last I knew, they only take cash which is a small downside but they have an ATM; just something to know...
