CUSTOMERS PAY FOR EXPERIENCE!!!!! We have had 3 experiences here so far. The first was a day just for drinks. We were so impressed by the look of the menu we came back. The second we sat at the bar, received phenomenal service, ordered 2 steaks that made this our #1 go to for a steak in Lincoln (Mahogany in Omaha overall). Today's visit a month and a half later, was distasteful and made me never want to come back and do anything other than sitting at the bar. Experience #2 sitting at the bar, the ribeye, NY strip, mac and cheese, and potatoes, were exquisite. The bartender was experienced, pleasant, and created an experience which allowed us wanting more. Today NYE, it's not busy, but our waitress, Essence, was unwelcoming, unpleasant, and displayed a complete annoyance of our presence. We had all of a 3 second introduction when she asked if we needed a minute to look a the menu or knew what we wanted. Super welcoming. Zero introduction in the slightest. Amigos even asks your first name and gives you theirs. Had I not known the food was good from a previous experience, I would've walked out. I wouldn't have known our server's name, had I not asked on her 3rd trip to the table. She was in this to get us in and out. Had this been our only experience here, I'd never come back. I'm all for tipping well, and paying good money for service and food, but based off of today, I wouldn't. Create a memorable experience for people to come back to, and you'll never have to question your business standards, surviving in a dying industry. The food is phenomenal, but when you fail to have adequate or coherent staff, what's the point?

Traveling alone and eating solo can sometimes feel like a chore, but tonight was anything but that. Huge shoutout to Hat Killers Barbershop for sending me here—because wow, what an experience! From the moment I sat down, Kaydee, my server, made sure I felt like a VIP. She didn’t just take my order; she curated an experience, guiding me toward some absolute gems on the menu. Let’s talk about the filet—perfectly cooked, buttery, melt-in-your-mouth perfection. The mashed potatoes? Silky, rich, and downright addictive. But the real star of the show? The macaroni & cheese. Calling it “life-altering” almost feels like an understatement. Creamy, cheesy, with that perfect hint of indulgence that makes you want to slow down just to savor every bite. Even battling through blowing snow and 10-degree weather, circling for parking like a hawk, was so worth it. This place is an absolute must-visit, and I’m already counting down the days until I pass through again! Ed

This place used to be good. On Valentine's day I wanted to try their Diver's Scallops. Those are scallops that are harvested by hand. This does affect the flavor. Their scallops though are NOT diver harvested (according to the kitchen staff I asked). The mahi mahi I got instead? Was mehi mehi. Friday we were there again. My son's steak was under cooked (rare instead of medium). His steak as well as my daughters were plated with scallops for an upcharge. Look at the size difference in the scallops....my daughter got 3 tiny micro bites. My Cajun pasta was overcooked and the noodles were bland. The sauce was flavorless. It had maybe 5 shrimp. Our waitress "Essence" was forgetful and pushy. We ordered shots before dinner....she came to us 3 times to take our order before finally bringing us our shots. It was not particularly busy yet. She seemed a bit coked out. Not worth the price. It is on par with outback.

Came down on a Saturday at 7 for a friends birthday. The service was fast and friendly all night - our main waiter and other staff we interacted with were always helpful (putting in an extra app order, another drink, etc). I have been to other places where these staff members have to go get the assigned waiter for us to be served so it does stand out that regardless of who popped by, never felt like we had to wait.

Food was good - we had loaded fries with pulled pork and brisket and between four people the plate was gone fast! It was a favorite. Also got the cornbread app, which I didn’t like and would not order again. I love cornbread and spreads but none of it was up to par.

Then I got the BBQ sampler for my main and was very happy! Ribs were pretty good, pulled pork was yummy, brisket also good. The LT offer a selection of four sauces, I mixed mine to get the right flavor. I know customers can be demanding when it comes to sauce so I think this is the best way to keep folks happy.

Our drinks were also flavorful and well made.

One thing I did not like was that TV was projected on a large screen. I am not a fan of television while eating out - just like phones, you can stand to be in the moment and enjoy conversation and food with folks. It’s easier to let it go when my bill is $20-$30 but for just myself I ended up around $75 (includes tip). If I’m paying that much for a single person then I’d like the...

Visited here for lunch. Pretty nice inside. Unfortunately it isn't comfortable. The chairs are cheap. It seems like they were trying to save some money because the backrests are so short you can't lean back and relax because there's nothing to hold you up.

I ordered the brisket grilled cheese and it was almost a total fail. The crust was so hard It was scratching my gums. Use fresh bread please! Somehow the rest of the bread was perfect since it was buttered and it confused me as to why they couldn't simply butter the crust so it wasn't such a turn off. It came with a side of au jus so I was able to dip the crust and make it something I could eat without scratching my gums. The brisket was tough. Does anybody check this stuff before they serve it? Overall The flavor was good and the grilled veggies-zucchini and onions cooked to absolute tenderness with perfect seasoning-were absolutely delicious so they get three out of 5 stars on the food.

Our server was a very nice gentleman. He let us know when our food was a couple minutes from being and filled our drinks consistently.

To paraphrase: it is very nice inside but I don't visit restaurants to stare at the furnishings. Not sure if I will go back here due to the ridiculous chairs and the fact the food was...
