The wife and I wanted to come see the Haymarket for the Bill Harris Burlington steam engine, so we planned on dinner afterwards at Lazlo's. We both chose the Lazlo burger with a gluten-free bun. Let me tell you, that was one of the best burgers I have had in a while. I normally head to Red Robin when the burger craving hits, but Lazlo's just beat them by a mile. It was juicy and flavorful, with just a hint of pink. That is exactly how I like my burger, because enough moisture remains to keep it from being dry. The honey mustard was quite tasty, one of the better sauces I have had recently. The garlic sauce was too salty for my taste, consider the basket of sweet potato fries had salt already. The server was friendly and accommodating. He explained their Covid-19 sanitation methods for the tables, as well as the hand washing practices they use. The wife and I appreciated this very much. In all, we will return to Lazlo's when we are in the are again, as the food was quite good. The reason for four stars? I had to park a block away to get Handicapped parking for my wife. She has a tough time, especially on a hill.

We had a group of five during the not so busy part of a Sunday evening. We were traveling for business and decided on this restaurant. The place was not crowded at all. Most tables were empty. The server came quickly to the table and took our drink orders. A few moments later she showed back up with drinks and took our food orders. We sat talking for a while when we noticed the time that went by. It took a while for the food to come out. While waiting, we used the extra time on our hands to see that the floor needed to be swept under the tables next to our party. Looking under the table where we sat, I noticed a fork that was left from the people before. Food came out and I quickly noticed that my baked potato was not fresh and cold. It didn't melt the butter that was supposed to go on top. It was kind of hard and tough. I also had the bacon and balsamic steak salad. The cinnamon in the dressing was something that I've never had before but I liked it. I had the medium rare steak it was cooked right but it was cold when I got it. I mean cold like it sat for a while before it was brought out. Usually, the chef knows how to make different orders at different times so that all the food comes out at the time and hot.

Went on Memorial Day for dinner. We had a group of 11...they were not busy at all when we arrived, so we were seated quickly. I was a little worried about the place NOT being busy...but it filled very soon after we arrived. Service was very good and attentive. She got the order right and food came quickly. Drink orders were taken promptly and adult beverages were reasonably ok...nothing to write home about...but good enough. Food was ok...we ordered steaks, prime rib, fish, chicken, salads, soups....we ordered across the full spectrum of their menu. Again food was ok....UNLESS you are from Texas and want a raw steak or very rare prime rib.... They wouldn't last in Texas serving barely pink prime rib as rare...if it's not dripping blood it isn't rare prime rib. If you can't get a steak like in the picture...you won't be serving steaks(or anything else) in Dallas. Probably reasonable for downtown Lincoln, but wouldn't fly south of the Red River😉 Price is a little on the high side for quality and quantity...but maybe it's ok for Lincoln. For $25 a steak I should get it however I want it....but not here.

Very last minute decision to come here and I would NOT recommend it for a quick meal. No one came to take our order for a good 10 minutes until we actually called someone. The food didn't take too long so that was okay. Portion sizes on both items we ordered was very small. I got the Southwest Salad with shrimp instead of chicken. Salad was quite small and that was barely any shrimp on there. I had to ask for extra greens (actually walked up to the host because no one came to check on us or any table in our area). It came with a honey lime dressing and Southwest peanut sauce and those both were really good. The combination of both was perfect. My fiance got the Smoking Gun Burger (with the peanut sauce and onion rings and bacon), and not going to lie... That burger was quite small. We eat out a lot and have tried burgers at a lot of restaurants, and this definitely does not compare. Onion rings will also very oily. I was really expecting experience, but this was not it. Food was good in some sense but not up to the mark and serving size or service.

We made a short road trip to Lincoln, Nebraska, and decided on Lazlo's as they are listed online as a restaurant with a dog friendly patio, as well as a great looking food menu. William and Ann took great care of us all. They were friendly and welcoming to us all. They had some great oldies playing softly in the background, and the downtown sounds made it a great lunch. The patio is decorated nicely, and the inside is very fun. The food was good. We ordered off the kids' menu for our doggie, Chloe. They even brought her out her own Lazlo's doggie water bowl. My sandwich was perfect with cole slaw, and the spicy crispy chicken sandwich was filling and tasty. It was a great lunch.
