Not that any McDonalds exactly deserves 5 stars.... But this one deserves one star for a McDonalds. We all know anyone can get better food anywhere else however, McDonald's is supposed to be a place where you can get cheap food conveniently. At this McDonalds convenience is often in short supply as is customer service. This store constantly closes without warning or expectation despite being a 24-hour establishment. They only adhear to the menu when it's convenient for them, they're slow, and you often get a bad attitude. Let me reidderate for you a story that perfectly emphasizes the level of incompetence that these McDonald's employees demonstrate on a daily basis. I went there the other day and ordered 2 Southwest salads with Crispy Chicken. First of all before I could order I sat and waited at the speaker for several minutes before anyone acknowledge my presence. When they finally did acknowledge my presence they acted like they were bothered. Anyway I had placed my order and there were about four people in front of me in line. It took about 10 minutes to get to the window which was a little annoying but I understand they were busy. However when I got to the window the girl informed me that they had run out of crispy chicken and that I could either wait or just get grilled chicken...... So, despite knowing my order, and rather than fill it, they decided to just wait and see if their resurant that's open 24hrs would have to cook one more piece of chicken... It takes 4 minutes to cook the chicken.... It took 10 to get to the window.... What do you think they should have done... Night crew closes whenever they feel like it, food is often old and stale (especially fries, if not double cooked). They just suck. Some one at corporate please read this and...
Read moreI went inside to order fries fresh. I figured I would go inside to keep the drive thru flowing. I know time is everything in fast food. I saw the manager pull the fries out of the fryer with almost a minute left. The thing that puzzled me is she let them sit above fryer made no sense that they couldnt finish cooking if she was just going to let them sit there. Needless to say fries were very soggy. I didnt complain in store because I already felt like it was a inconvenience that I even came into the store. I also waited for the guy taking orders to finish his line before I asked for my cups to fill up while I waited he scoffed and rolled his eyes. He told me to wait and walked away to make a coffee for a gentleman who order after me. Then when I got my 3 kids meals and another bag of food I asked for a bigger bag to carry everything without dropping my order. The manager seemed frustrated that I even asked her. She didn't even offer me a drink tray for the 3 cups I had. I understand the fast pace environment but I don't understand why it's a inconvenience to even come for food a job is a job. Why serve food at a restaurant if you don't want people to come to eat. I honestly will not return to this location. I dont want to upset the staff anymore than they already are as a...
Read morePoor customer service. I ordered a Quarter Pounder Deluxe Meal. After taking my money, they tell me to pull ahead so they could serve people behind me because my food wasn't ready. Normally, I don't mind doing this but I've been burned in the past by McDonald's who completely forgot to serve me after I patiently waited as lines and lines of people behind me got their food and drove off. I'm pretty sure some fast food chains (I.E. Del Taco) have timers at fast food windows to measure certain metrics and ask customers to pull forward to 'game the system'.
Anyhow, I wasn't having any of that "letting people behind me get their food first as if I don't understand how a proper queue works." So I tell the worker I'm not pulling ahead that I'll wait at the window, worker then reports it to the manager... manager comes to the window and explains she's the manager and I need to pull ahead because my foods not ready. "I said I'll here". She tells me if I don't leave the window (without my food) she's going to refund my order. So reluctantly, I hand her my Credit Card and she refunds the order. I drive off hangrily with my...
