My family and I had regulars at Moe's in Linden over the past 6 months. My 5 year old daughter absolutely loves the food there and the staff is pretty good. However, during our last visit this post Tuesday, as my family began eating, I looked over into my husband's bowl, i noticed something squirming. I took a closer look and realized that it was a maggot!!! Because we were regulars we tried our best to be discrete and to not make a scene. We got our money back and left but noticed that the workers did nothing to try to figure out where the maggot came from and continued to serve the food.
I feel so guilty about not making more of a scene and allowing fellow diners to continue buying and eating tainted food that i decided to write this review.
Please inspect your meals if you decide to eat here after reading this.

We got there around 9pm and there were four employees behind the food bar and a line of about 7-8 people ahead of us. By the time it came to the couple in front of us (approximately 20 minutes), they said there was no chicken or beef left... All that was left was some tofu and bits of spicy chicken. They said it would be a 7 minute wait for the chicken, so we figured we'd wait since it's already been this long. Read moreUpdate - going to one star. I'm done with this bait and switch company. I can only give so many chances. They sent me a promotion I liked and when I got there I was told they are not accepting it, resulting in double the price. Another case of a company doing a bait and switch to get people in the door. Not this one. GFY.
Prior visit, I'm Not sure what happened. Food is ok, but the bowl is now a plate. The lid is bigger. Not only that, the prices went up and mo Monday no longer includes a drink and they force you to have the app for the special. They are skimping on portions now. Less meat and more up charges. Looks like they told Chipotle hold my beer . No reason to keep going back, not worth it anymore.
