Chinatown — Restaurant in Litchfield

I have been attempting to go to this buffet for the three years I have lived in the area. It started out not good, but for the money, fine. That was, again, three years ago. I have sporadically kept trying to give it chance after chance because my toddler and now 7-year-old loved it. Until today. Today was the final straw. The last three times I have been here, the prices have sky rocketed, been falsely advertised online, and the food has continued to drastically decline to the point a tabel of three people with all varying dietary needs and choices couldn't eat ANYTHING they put on their plate. If salmonella has a taste, its exactly what the beef and broccoli tastes like. You can taste a pungent fish flavor in absolutely everything you eat that has not been deep fried. The deep fried food is dry. Nothing is kept warm. Even the crab rangoon is inedible!!! You take one bite and it explodes out the other side. I got legitimately sick when I got home. Vomited the maybe 7 or 8 bites I forced myself to take so I could justify spending nearly 15 dollars for a lunch-priced buffet. They were under a boil order. Forced you to pay $1 for a Walmart brand bottle of water from a 40 pack that I know costs well under $10. If there is a boil order, what water did they use to cook? Because it sure as hell tasted like it was cooked with the stagnant, soiled toilet water from their bathroom's toilets that were either already stopped up or wouldnt flush. The entire establishment was dirty in the dining area. We were sat next to a tabel of garbage and cleaning supplies. Our waiter was polite but absolutely made us feel rushed and unwelcome. It wasnt his fault. He did a great job at what they told him to do. You should see the disgusting expressions on the rest of the staffs faces. Its deplorable. I had a bad experience.. I went with my husband, my friend, and her son and daughter and the restaurant wasn’t very busy. The hostess was very rude and seemed like she didn’t want to be there, she talked in a monotone voice. They got our drinks wrong, I ordered a Pepsi, and so did my friend’s son. My husband and friend got water and my friend’s daughter got root beer. My friend and husband got their water but my friend’s daughter didn’t get anything to drink, and my friends son and I got root beer. We had to flag down a waitress because she walked by quickly and tried to ignore customers, she was very rude when getting us new drinks. She asked what we wanted twice after we already told her, and rolled her eyes when we thanked her. The food was not as good as usual. The rice I got was hard and partially uncooked. The honey chicken I got tasted funny,, the beef and cheese roll I got was disgusting. The sesame ball was also not good, and I fond pieces of hair in my potatoes. My Pepsi had stuff floating at the top but I didn’t even try to get the waitress. My friend had to ask multiple times to get her drink refilled after it sat at the edge of the table for minutes, this happened a few times. She took my friend’s daughter’s plate while she was still eating, and took my friend’s full bowl of jello when she got up to get more food. She shot us dirty looks the whole time and was laughing at my husband when he asked for a drink refill. The waitress was nice to everyone but us. When she cleared our table off she violently picked the plates and trash up. She threw the bill at my friend and shot her another dirty look. And as we were walking out she shot us another dirty look, this time at my friend’s kids. My friend didn’t leave a tip, and the lady at the counter was rude and didn’t thank us for coming. Very disappointed at china town in Litchfield, came here to grab a quick an easy dinner. Get here to see there’s a lot of cars in the parking lot, I tell myself ooouuu this should be good it’s busy so the food so be good (obviously since it’s a buffet more people fresher the food) right? Yeah we’ll definitely not, I found piece of hair in the honey chicken. The noodle were so dry that it was disgusting, the sweet n sour chicken was cooked so long it was rock hard, not to mention the minimal selected options… Least to say I’m very disappointed.. wouldn’t recommend unless you want room temperature food an hair in it☹️ Also they upped their price an it is now 17.79$ for the buffet an a drink……....
