Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen — Restaurant in Little Rock

Yesterday evening I was so hungry after enjoying the afternoon working on some personal affairs, and I remembered receiving a gift card for Christmas by my Auntie Julie in the amount of $25. I walked into my Smom's (step-mom) work and told her let's skip dishes and cooking tonight since dad has his meeting and we're between there and here. We both know if she would've gone home, she would've stayed home, so I did the best thing in those moments.

As we pull into the parking lot of this beautiful restaurant called Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen, I was going to check in with my Facebook app, and it just so happened to be my and my Smom's friendiversary. What perfect timing to be enjoying a meal with someone on social media's special occasion, though I wanted to eat already and I was in her neck of the woods, the aroma from inside lingering around the paved lot we were in outside took my inhalation station instantly. I could taste the food before seeing it.

We walked in through the front door and was greeted by a man in red with a large "glad you came out tonight" addictive smile. It was wonderful to feel the service on the other side and be out for an evening of bonding. Bonding time with our mother's is important and sometimes we don't share enough appreciation, but trying is the best effort, so I wanted just that.

The servers, Blair and Candice, approached our table, yes servers, because Candice was in training. We ordered our beverages, appetizer, then meal, and later dessert. We went all out!!! This was a meal made just for us!!! Everything was absolutely amazing, and I'd definitely go back and try another meal, because one visit is never enough. Thank you Cheddar's!

I love cheddars specially there chicken pot pie. Today i went to eat there for dinner with my emt partner. I order honey butter croissants chicken pot pie with mac and cheese. Our order arrived quickly. The food looked amazing. While i was about to get a bite of my mac an cheese i noticed a hair in it. I told my waitress she offered another side item i told her it was okay and i was fine. I continued to eat my chicken pot pie and my croissant they where both delicious. About half way threw my pot pie i bit down on a chicken bone. I immediately spit it out and sat my food aside. I figured they made there chicken pot pie in house and they debone there own chicken an a bone slipped by. I wasnt mad angry or upset. As an emt i just wanted to make sure the manger knew just so it wouldnt happen to anyone else. A few seconds after finding the chicken bone in my food the manger came over to talk to me about the hair in my mac and cheese. He asked if i wanted another side i politely told him no its okay really it was an accident. I told him about the bone in my chicken pot pie he said it rarely happens and explained they debone there chicken in house and the chicken pot pie is made fresh. I told him it okay i understand just wanted you to be aware just in case there more. I told him i love coming to cheddars for the pot pie specially when am working cause it comfort food and that i would definitely still come again. He offered another side to replace the mac and cheese. I politely told him no. I was an accident that its okay. He then wanted to comp my croissants. He wouldnt take no for an answer so i let him. He even offered a free dessert a big piece of chocolate cake with ice cream that my emt partner and i couldnt finish so we took it with us. Eventhough there was some problems during my visit i am happy with my service i recieved. I am glad to see a manger that immediately tries to fix something that wrong. i would like to say thank you to the manger and my waitress for being so kind and for making my 72 hour...

I ordered specifically online added it potato soup with no cheese. I was given cheese dip. I ordered soup for my mom who has been sick and not eating. I get to nursing home separate food and I have no potato soup but cheese dip. And it’s written on container no cheese on potato soup. I call store and was transferred to go department. He was like it’s not on order you didn’t pay for it. I’m sorry. Didn’t ask to replace the soup for inconvenience cause online error messed up. I specifically added it online pressed add soup then placed in remarks no cheese on potato soup. Now I have cheese dip no one can eat and not soup. I have to make extra trip to find soup for my mom. After this mix up I wanted to return entire order.But my mom’s nursing home miles from Cheddars. Extremely disappointed in service and glad I caught it before my mom ate it and got sick. I’m very upset about this that I want to return entire order but don’t want to drive all the way back to Little Rock. If someone would have took time read notes no cheese and took time to use phone to call me to check order. When they read no cheese in potato soup it should have signal something is off with this order and not add something that a customer can not eat. Some type of cheese deep. This was awful Sunday dinner with my mom. I didn’t have time to tell the to go person or manager because he was like sorry you didn’t pay for it and that’s it. Just dimissed my entire complaint of not having what I ordered online. I think the dismissal of the situation is what made me not want the rest of order or spend money there again. If that’s how Cheddar’s treat customers in this situation I can’t imagine how bad they would someone with larger order. It mattered to me to get my mom her soup to help her feel better. Always good to check food before you leave. I was tired from 12 hr shift and thought they couldn’t mess up a simple pride so I rush to get to my mom. What a disappointment when opening bag no soup but cheese...
