As a culinarian, I try and find many restaurants and food spots that are doing things right and bring a smile to my face. I can confidently say that Scoops is one of those places. The smoothies are all made to order with fresh ingredients and you can taste the difference. The ice cream is always smooth and consistent with the flavor it has. I've tried all of their sandwiches and pastries and can say that I have yet to be disappointed. In terms of service, the two employees that I have personally interacted with would be Kara and Abby. They are both exceptional with handling customers and follow the rules of "service with a smile" very well. While I haven't interacted with their whole staff, from what I can see, all of their employees carry themselves the exact same way. In summary, Scoops is one of the few places I have found in Little Rock so far, that brings me joy the second I decide I'm going to take a trip there. Portion sizes are grand, yet not too pricey. Service is phenomenal. The Ice cream, smoothies, sandwiches, and coffee are all delightful. Wait times are quick, regardless of the amount of customers. Scoops even presents many options for customers, even dairy-free options despite primarily being an ice cream shop. Without a doubt, it deserves 5 stars in...
Read moreI recently visited this location and had a disappointing experience. I went through the drive-thru and ordered a regular "Death by Chocolate" milkshake. I asked the worker if I could add a few toppings, but was told "no" to marshmallow fluff, marshmallows, and brownie. When I asked what I could add, she only mentioned cookie pieces, which I agreed to. However, this interaction felt very unhelpful, and I left without the toppings I wanted or a clear understanding of what was actually available.
The real issue came when I pulled forward to the window. Despite there being no cars ahead or behind me, I waited for approximately 7 minutes before a worker even came to the window. When they finally did, there was no acknowledgment of the wait or any effort to make up for the delay. My milkshake was handed over with no mention of the toppings I had asked about.
This lack of communication, slow service, and indifference to the wait time were disappointing, and I left feeling frustrated. I hope the staff can improve in both customer service and efficiency in the future. -Jessie...

Let me start by saying my children absolutely love coming to Scoops, and we’ve been loyal customers, visiting about once a week. Sadly, after our most recent visit, we won’t be returning.
What we witnessed behind the counter was completely unsanitary and honestly, unacceptable. The workers were using the same gloves to handle money and scoop ice cream—without changing them or removing them at the register. To make matters worse, I saw one of the staff members use the same towel that was used to wipe the counters to clean off the ice cream scoopers.
If it hadn’t been for my kids, I would’ve walked out right then and there. It was that bad.
Until proper food handling protocols are in place, we won’t be coming back. If you’re okay with someone using the same gloves to touch cash and then your ice cream, this place might still be for you. But if cleanliness and food safety matter to you even a little, I’d recommend finding a different...
