Excellent steak dinner. Our waiter, Sasha was helpful with recommendations for dining. The waterboy was VERY attentive and kept our water glasses refilled throughout the dinner. I ordered the 12 Oz bacon-wrapped fillet....my dining companion did not...yet, when the food arrived, his was bacon-wrapped and mine was not...go and figure. The fillet was ordered medium rare, but arrived closer to rare (bottom to top). Blaine's asparagus is the way to go for your vegetable...$3 upcharge, but definitely worth it and delicious. The au gratin potatoes, while they served a very , very small portion, was packed with flavor. My colleague ordered the fully loaded backed potatoe and it was HUGE. Dessert was yet, again, a very small ball of bread pudding, nevertheless, warm and packed with flavor....all things being equal, a mid ranged steak dinner with relatively small portions but excellent flavors...

So wanted to do a quiet, intimate dinner with my wife, the cause was a celebration. I've eaten here before once a few years ago, thought I would go here for this personal event. The food looked delicious and for the most part, my ribeye was. It was cooked perfect to my liking. But the ribeye had more fat than meat. Easily 40% of the ribeye was fat. The atmosphere was nice until the table next to us (less than 6 feet distance) became occupied. I could have easily touch this lady. The table were my wife and I were seated, was a high traffic spot. Meaning servers, are constantly passing by in such a way that it became very noticeable. Then to top it off, my dessert had hair on it. Now I will be compensated, but the experience wasn't worth $200 plus dollars. The crab cakes however, are fantastic! But that's my experience, I would suggest better grade of steaks and better seating arrangement.

Was in town and looking for a great steak place... Well we found it! Sonny Williams was outstanding. Made a Friday night reservation for 7:15 and arrived a little early. No issues and no wait. Window seating, table for four. The hostess and waiter were fantastic. Service was a little slow, but this is to expected when preparing food of this quality. Ordered drinks and enjoyed the house bread. No apps, we knew what was coming. Chose a beer on tap and perused the menu. Ordered the bone in cowboy ribeye (oscar), loaded baked potato and green beans. My steak was cooked to perfection. My mates ordered the ribeye and NY strip. They were surprised at the size of the steaks, no complaints here... We finished dinner and ordered the strawberry cheese cake and creme brulee. All said and done a fantastic experience. Thank you for keeping my inner fat kid happy 😊

I decided to surprise my wife for Valentine’s Day. We had been trying to get here for several years and finally made it. I was excited to surprise her and she was excited once we made our arrival. I made reservations several weeks out and confirmed the day of to make sure you were serving your full menu. Our reservation was at 7. We arrived 5 minutes before and was seated within a minute. It took 12 minutes before our server came over to acknowledge us, then she told us she would be back after clearing some tables. She came back and we told her we had a few questions, we asked those questions and told her we were ready to order. We placed our order at 7:17. We did not receive our food until 8:30; and the restaurant wasn’t even packed. We sat and watched people come in after us, get their food, eat and leave before us. We didn’t leave until 9:15. I literally watched a couple come in at 8, get their food, eat their food and leave at 8:55. This is completely unacceptable. Then when my bill comes, there are extra charges on it. I asked for a menu to make sure my mind wasn’t playing tricks on me. Both of my entrees were more on my ticket than they were on the menu. I asked the server, who’s name was Martha, why were the amounts on the ticket more than the amounts on the menu. She said it was because we substituted the sides and there was an up charge for those items. I informed her that when we asked about different sides and even when she suggested us getting different sides, she didn’t inform us of the up charge; which we wouldn’t have had a problem with paying for. Her response was “I don’t discuss money with my tables”. That’s a first in all of my years of living and eating out, that I had heard such a comment. Then I asked about the automatic gratuity and she said that because it was Valentine’s Day it was automatically added. I was not informed of that when I initially called to make my reservation, nor when I called back to ask about the menu, which at that time they confirmed my reservation. I am a big tipper however I tip by service, not by percentage. And the overall service we received tonight was not worthy of the tip that you all forced me to pay. This turned out to be a HORRIBLE dining experience. We definitely will NOT come back. We have several friends, family and colleagues waiting to hear about our experience and we will be telling them to NOT waste their time here. And the food was actually excellent, definitely better than Ruth’s Chris and Fleming’s, but not good enough to have to wait for over an hour for it, then to have your bill unknowingly have extra charges on it. The one star is to generous.

Completely...

I scheduled dinner to celebrate my aunts 95th birthday. We had celebrated her 94th last year and it was wonderful. On this occasion, however the atmosphere is very good. My food tasted good but two of the persons in our party requested their steak to be cooked a certain type of way the steak had to be sent back three times on each of them And I was disappointed that the waitress either did not inform the manager because the manager I would have expected to come over at least apologize for having to return this steak more than twice. And even after the third time, the state returned to one of the diners and it still was not as requested, but she chose to take the steak home And cook it at that point

The food is always very good seasoned well but when the main protein is steak and it does not come the way you expect it to come from a steak house. It is disappointing. Our reservation was for 515 for four people and so it was not crowded and in hindsight, I would have expected, at least a suggestion to reduce or to modify the cost of the meal at least for those two persons who’s food was returned three times. It was not as I said we had been there before, and never had any such problem. Our waiter on previous occasions was always very attentive to our waitress on this occasion did not seem to be as attentive as I would have expected so it is reasonable for me to assume that the waitress did not inform the management of the problems that we were having with our steaks I forgot to mention that the quality of the cowboy ribeye was totally different than what I had last year. It was a lot of gristle and a lot of fat this year. It was a Season well. With everything else going on with the steak and the temperature of the steaks for two of the diners it just never got mentioned. I don’t think the crab edition for $15 on top of the steak is worth a crab is very bland. you don’t even know that you have crab on top...
