Mediocre food, terrible service. Two special-occasion meals ruined. We visited twice; both times we made reservations, specifying that we wanted to be seated on the patio. Neither time did we get to sit on the patio (which, seriously, is the main reason we booked this place, both times!). The first time - my birthday! - they claimed it was 'too hot' (it was warm, sure, but not dangerously hot - and the patio is shaded), and we had to eat in the overcrowded, incredibly loud inside area. Not nice. Then the waitress spilled hot tea on my bare leg, and either did not notice (despite me saying OW! and grabbing my leg) or did not care. The food was only mediocre- very heavy-handed, very greasy. We went back a little over a week later, when my family came to visit from Canada, because the patio supposedly has a nice view (can't say for sure, as we've never been up there!) and we thought they'd enjoy the view despite the mediocre food. The weather was lovely this time - cool but sunny with only a few fluffy white clouds - but again, we were told the patio (which we had specifically reserved) was closed 'because of weather'. This time they said it was due to rain. When I pointed out that it was, in fact, not raining (seriously, if it had rained at ll that day, it must have been hours before we arrived, the sidewalk outside was bone dry), they said we'd have to wait an hour if we wanted to sit on the patio. (How tf would it take an hour to go open a door/clean a table???? And what weather DO you open the patio in???? Honestly, I'm pretty sure the staff just don't want to be arsed to go up the stairs....) So we again had to sit in the overcrowded main area, where I couldn't hear my family talk. Not what we wanted for our long-overdue family reunion. We ordered their 'bacon flight', which came out almost immediately, and was stone cold. Because who wouldn't want bacon that's been sitting around for who-knows-how-long? They didn't bring us the correct utensils, even after we requested them. Our server disappeared for like 20 minutes when we wanted to pay. I was SO embarrassed to have brought my family there!!! I normally don't care that much about service - as long as it seems like the staff is at least trying I'm happy - but here it seems like they really dgaf. I seriously doubt we'll be back. The food isn't that good, the service is abysmal and they clearly don't actually honour their reservations, so...

Update 08/11/24: this place never disappoints. I am back in Denver visiting and popped in here to get some bliss. Wow. Yes.

Sat at the bar and Chelsea (the bestest bartender in the world) served up all kinds of bliss.

Had a classic Bloody Maria (IYKYK) that was truly the best. Ordered the shrimp n grits with 1 fried egg. OMG to the max and beyond!

Yall quit sleeping on this Hotspot in Littleton! Yall missing out! Update 11/10/23: This place is just ridiculous. Killer service. Chelsea at the bar is next level. The shrimp and grits and queso is impossibly delicious. Weekends this place is so POPULAR if you dont have a reservation, GOOD LUCK!

The new Fall cocktail: Poison Apple is bonkers good! Theres a swirl of hocus pocus glitter that is sublime.

Update: 9/30/23 been here too many times to count. Here again, having another Dont Say A Peep cocktail, queso/bacon tots appetizer and the bacon shrimp and grits.

Yes, I ordered this 3 or 4 weeks ago. Still too wonderful for words.

Great staff (as always)

Zero complaints. Love this place!

April 2023: Chelsea is a master mixologist, and served her Dont Say A Peep cocktail creation. Wow! Better than my favorite song on repeat! Amazing.

Cool understated mid-century vibe without being on the nose.

Food is just so good. I had avocado toast (with scramble egg) which came with a delicious arugula salad and pickled red.onions. so fresh, so tasty. Also, the side of bacon is just so good. So thick, well cooked and buttery. So so so good. Parking was easy, bathrooms were clean. Chelsea is a delight.

  • a week later cuz I can't resist...

Was there again for lunch.and wow. This place does not disappoint. Sat at the bar so relaxed, imbibing on yet another delicious Dont Say A Peep cocktail. I ordered the Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich and OMG this was ridiculous! So good! KITCHEN knows what's up. Splurged on the bacon tots. Are you kidding me?!?!so crunchy, bacon-y, potatoe-y, salty and seriously incredible!.

Bartender (forgot his name) was quick, friendly and super helpful in giving me some menu ideas.

I'm only in town a few more weeks, but plan to return atleast...

Came in on an Oct Sunday and was greeted by the hostess in a less that thrilled manner that I was a party of one asking for a table. I was told everything was reserved and that I could take a place at the bar. Personally I don't like sitting at bars to enjoy my breakfast but I abliged. I was met by the bar tender who also didn't seem to happy that I was there to give my bussiness. I asked about a special that was running the month of October which is why I came in the first place. I was told it was no longer offered and they had a new special. I was confused due to the fact it was still October which ment it should still be offered. It was the baklava french toast. I was disappointed and proceeded to review the menu for other delicious items. I was ready in about 2 minutes but had to wait an additional 10min to order as my bartender was now waiting tables and decided the people across from at the bar me that were a bigger party were more important to be severed before hand. After that point, I did not have her as a server and had several other employees bring me my food water ect. Also the bacon flight which is an appetizers was served to me with my meal as I watched them pull other customers orders out of the trays from the kitchen at any given time sence it was ready to go. I was met with my bill, which had an additional 2 dollar server fee on it explaining why it was there. Question: Why not just mark your prices up and due away with that fee so I know exactly what I am paying for up front?! Was unsure if I should leave a tip as to who it would even go to, which is why i wanted a table with a secure waiter/tress. When I was leaving, the hostess disingenuous asked how the service was without making eye contact or any actual interest at all of my opinion. I just responded have a nice day. Overall the staff needs training and notication should be found about an addital up charge at the end of the dining experience. Not a pleasant experience this...

For our 160th Scotch Hour Episode, we reviewed the Bacon Social House in Littleton and loved it. My co-host tried the OMG Bloody Mary and Smoked Salmon Benedict and said it was one the best he had and rivaled a similar dish he tried in Las Vegas. As for me, I kept it simple and went with the Signature Bacon Flight and the BLTA. All of the bacon on the flight was delicious, but the French Toast Bacon stole the show. The BLTA was one of the better BLTs I have ever had with nice thick bacon, but if they had used the French Toast Bacon on it, that would have been perfect. For as busy as the place was, the service was great, the one hick-up was the hostess telling us we had to be finished with our meal within a certain timeframe, which seemed a bit odd. Parking doesn't seem ideal, and I wish it had more of a dedicated parking lot for the restaurant. The decor on the inside was great, but I wish they had the patio open. If you're looking for a wonderful breakfast place, I highly suggest this restaurant, but I would advise making a reservation and planning a little extra time to find parking.

Went here for brunch and was pleased with the overall experience. The food was delicious; but for us, the cocktails were the stars. They were delicious and a good mix of bacon themed and classics. The bacon flight is so worth it. Things to be aware of: The parking garage is a little confusing and guests can't use the elevator. The restaurant does validate parking and has a self-serve machine by the front door. The downstairs seating area is extremely loud. If the weather permits, try sitting in the rooftop patio with views of the mountains. Note: when you reach the top of the 3 flights of stairs, it looks like you're just on a roof and there are no signs. Keep following the path to reach the seating area. Staffing is low and there are longer wait times between service, so plan to give yourself plenty of time to dine. The space worked for us, especially since the bloody mary flight is a meal in itself. Tip for groups - The server can split an shared items easily. Ours did it without asking and it was perfect.
