This is my second time at the Livonia location in the past week. Last Friday 7/14/23. I order the black bowl which is ($5) more than the regular shawarma bowl. If you’re paying additional money for the bowl then why is the bowl not being filled properly. Went again today 7/22/23 to the Livonia location and there is a whole new crew in there during the 1pm hour. I ordered the black bowl again for $5 more. Everyone seemed clueless. You have a trainee being trained and not being trained properly even with the mgr. standing there looking over everyone’s shoulder and not from what I can see working at all. The individual who was doing the training needs to be retrained in food safety and handling. There should be different size food utensils for the black bowls as well. The employees should not have hands put into the food to place in the container even with gloves on and then use the same gloves to handle the utensils. The container where the food is being put into should be where the food is so this way you don’t have the food being put into other food items. With every spoon of food going into the container I was asked if that was enough and the server knew that it was not. Today’s wait staff left a bad impression and feeling where I just wanted to hurry up and get out of there and never look back. Well, that helps no one . It does not help the current and future customer nor the business. You’re in the business of customer service and today’s customer service was terrible. The food now is just sitting in my fridge. P.S. the Chicken Shawarma meat on 7/22/23 at the 1pm shift was cut into tiny pieces like I had never seen before for shawarma meat. A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT FOR MR. KABOB...
Read moreCame in with three friends for a Sunday lunch. It was our first time visiting and all four of us would absolutely come back again! The resturant was bright, modern and clean. All the staff were very friendly, service was great!
The amount of choices can be a little overwhelming but it also means there's something for everyone! I got the chicken shawarma bowl, and the meat and veggies were all fresh and tasted great. I would say that next time rather than the fattoush dressing I would go with Tzki or Garlic sauce. It wasn't bad, but my friends' bowls with the other sauces were outstanding! The gyro meat is also a great protein choice! My can't miss topping is the pickled turnips, the perfect addition to any bowl. I could eat them all on their own!
Also, don't skip the Greek fries! They were a group favorite! So was the baklava!
Overall service was fast, and we got quality food that was very clearly freshly made and 100% delicious! From what we were told the ingredients are fresh made in house, which is probably why it all tastes so fresh! The price point may be a little high for some people, but I was satisfied with what I got. The only improvement I could think of is a few recommended bowl/wrap combos because of the wide variety of choices, but expiramenting and trying new things is fun too! If I lived in-state I would...
Read moreI hate I have to change my 5 star to a 1 Star and frankly if there were a 0 Star I would give that. I really used to like coming to this location and hopefully this issues does happen again. They seem to have a new employee or maybe he just doesn’t work during the lunch hours, however, he seem to be a family member but not sure. The 1st thing that was a problem was that he was not polite and he have a bad tone in his voice as if I done some wrong to him, then the most disgusting thing he did was, used his fist to grab my rice in put it in the bowl as if he was feeding a dog. I can’t for the life me understand why would he think that was okay to put his hand in the pan of rice to grab a portion and serve it to customers. I immediately told him never mind and walked out the door. I normally received very good service from the lady and the other two guys that cooks but because of what the young guy did I don’t know if I will ever return. One of the other reviews mentioned that the Troy location of good, I may...
