So... I'm extremely disappointed I'm here writing a complaint about one of our family favorites especially favorite soup spots. We would come to this location about 8-10 times a year since late 2017. Doesn't seem like a lot but we live 14 miles one way from your location. Anyways here's the reason for my email... A couple weeks ago I came in to order the family size of lobster bisque (THE BEST) and when I got home it was really watered down not thick and creamy like usual so whatever I spent 7 years in the restaurant industry things happen. I called the "Manager" seemed offended I called to complain (I was extremely polite because I was in her situation before of a customer complaint) She didn't really know what to say so I offered to bring it up to show her and she accepted. After about 15 minutes she called me back saying "we're all out of the lobster bisque can you come back tomorrow?" I told her that's fine and gave her my name, she said she'd write it down and replace the order. I informed her I have a crazy schedule and work out and Milford and will get there when I can. She said "no problem" So today I come in with the soup in the container spoke with a staff member telling her the situation and she said she'll "look my name up" after a couple minutes came back and said "I couldn't find your name but I can help you out" Great! Fantastic customer service!.... She put it in the bag and handed it to me. I asked can I have some of the white or French bread whatever it is? She responded in a rude manner saying "I replaced your soup that's all I can do" I told her "but my order came with bread..." She gave me an attitude and said (while customers where in line) "Well you brought this back half empty so all I'm doing is replacing the soup" I informed her the soup I brought her was all watered down and to look at it we couldn't even enjoy it... She told me all she could do is replace the soup.... Ummm bread is cheap and if she just gave me the bread I would've been happy and walked away that the restaurant corrected the issue and I'd be back again... Nope! She talked to me like I was some scam trying to get a free meal when all did was be polite. So here's my point... Not only have I been in the restaurant industry for 7 years I've been in management for 4 years before owning my own business coming on 5 years and never treated a complaint that way inwas treated today. I'm not asking you for FREE food or Terminate anyone I'm asking you to please take this email as a coaching tool for the future. Here's the sad part and if you had an attachment thing for this email I'd attach a photo... on my way home to my family I had to stop a Kroger and buy some French bread similar to y'all to give that "Zoup experience" That's sad... Again I'm disappointed I'm here writing y'all a complaint email but here I am. Please take this in consideration that it's the little things that count and this email could've been prevented for $3 piece of bread but I ended up going to Kroger taking time away from my family to give them that...
Read moreJust left this place in literal tears! Apparently I have to sample any soup before purchase because if you can’t handle the spice you can’t change your order. I ordered the cheesy quesadilla soup and it was so spicy I couldn’t eat it. I hate complaining, so When my friend went to explain; the staff was friendly and said no problem but then the manager questioned them as to if I sampled it first. I said I had not and didn’t expect it to be so spicy. She basically told me too bad and that I should of known it was spicy and I was so upset I left. That manager woman was the rudest woman I’ve ever encountered in a food establishment. It seems they were too busy to rush back to eat their free crumble cookies they received instead of making sure their customers were satisfied. I work in the food industry and was appalled at the lack of customer service or care I received. Not only did I not get a replacement soup I was told I could just keep the one I ordered which I intend to throw in the trash!! I Will never go back to this location and will let all my friends and family know how poorly run that place is. Y’all should be ashamed of yourselves for making a paying customer cry her eyes out in her vehicle while you all enjoy your free cookies! Thank you for...
