If I could give a 0 or negative stars I would but I can't so they're lucky to be getting a 1. I have never experienced anything like this before. On Saturday 6/24/17 a friend and I went into the locust grove McDonald's despite us knowing that this location has a reputation for being very slow and taking a long time to get ones food out. Jokingly we decided we wanted to see how long the entire process would take from the moment we walked in until we got our food and walked out knowing most likely we were gonna be here for a good while. As we walked in I set my stop watch on my phone and timed it just to see how long the entire process would take. We walked in at 8:35 am and stood in a single line with about 10 people in front of us all waiting looking very frustrated. We overheard the people in front of us saying that no one was behind the cash register. About 8 minutes had passed since we entered the line waiting for everyone's orders to be taken. There was a group of 6 in front of us who started calling out for someone to serve us at the register that they had been waiting over 10 minutes. Finally an employee came to the register to start taking orders who was helping else where in the back. The cashier announced to everyone in line who had been waiting all this time that they had no coffee or orange juice available. Most of us in line who had been waiting all this time wanted coffee so the frustration began to grow here because they told everyone they would have to wait even longer then we already had been until they made some more coffee. After about 15 minutes passed from waiting in line we finally got to the front and our order placed so now we just had to wait on our food. Not only was coffee and orange juice unavailable but they had no sweet tea out for customers either. The employees shouted at each other from the front of the counter to the cooks in the back asking where the sweet tea is but no one seemed to be on top of it. It seemed that there was no leadership or work order what so ever with this staff. It was very unprofessional as they continued yelling back and forth at each other until about 5 minutes later someone finally brought out some sweet tea. Almost 20 minutes had passed since I began the stop watch timer on my phone and we still hadn't received our food. The group of 6 that were in front of us got their food so we expected to be next for ours. However this is when the real chaos began as one of the women in the group asked for extra condiments and the employee behind the counter rolled her eyes and mumbled under her breath which the customer caught wind of. The customer got upset with her but the problem exploded when the employee got attitude and lashed back to the customer who was already frustrated for the long wait times and inconviences. Working in retail I know the golden rule that regardless who is wrong or right you do not argue, yell, and cuss at your customers like this employee did. They continued to scream and yell at each other for a few minutes until the rest of her party pulled her away to calm down. I caught the last minute of it on my phone because I couldn't believe what I saw and I knew if I didn't record it no one else would believe me. At one point the employee told the customer and I quote " the customer is not always right". People had to hold both of them back from attacking each other. The manager stepped up after all of this happened when people asked "where's the manager"? They didn't apologize and all she said was I wasnt here to witness it so I can't say anything. The entire thing was just a shock. This has been the worst experience I've ever seen at a restaurant. We were there for 25 minutes from walking in until walking out with our food while wittnesing poor service, neglect, and staff arguing with staff and with the customers. Ownership needs to either re-train everyone with McDonald's 101 or fire and restaff this store because it is terrible. Warning to all that this is just one of the many crazy experiences at the locust...
Read moreDO NOT USE OR GO TO THIS PLACE! This is truly the worst McDonald's ever! The owner should be ashamed for owning this property. The management is unqualified the employees are always high and incompetent.
The other day I went there because my coworker wanted breakfast from McDonald's. So after the disgrace that I had dealing with this below standard fast food joint on Thanksgiving, I figured give it another shot. I walked in they were three people in line so I went to the kiosk. After using said kiosk it told me it was broken and I needed to use the counter to pay. I still remember the number, order number 932. The person who's supposed to be cashier yelled out abruptly registers down use the kiosk. I said I did use the kiosk it said to pay it to register after standing there for 15 minutes note they're only three people in line before, and two tables with people eating. She could not find the order number and told me I didn't know what I was doing. I repeated my order and she said hold on a minute. Walked off was laughing with the manager. So after waiting all that time and still not being able to order properly. I said remind me why you think you need to get paid more than minimum wage and they said they were too busy to deal with my attitude. I could have skinned the pig quicker than they do service. They are rude, they are untrained, unprofessional and totally incompetent! I would not trust them to clean the Spot-a-pots on my job site. Much less handle food! This McDonald's should be shut down, the staff should be fired every single one of them! A new staff hired and trained properly, and this should be done immediately before someone gets very sick. This is not being said personally this is being said for Public Safety. DO NOT USE OR GO...
Read moreDoesn't deserve one star. My family and I were traveling back to Atlanta from Valdosta. We stopped for a late night bite but was greeted with rude, unprofessional staff. When I entered the drive thru two cars were already ahead of me but no one's order was being taken. No one answered the two drive thru speakers. I didn't think much of it- assuming they were probably taking orders from the window. Well, when I got to the speakers, I spoke into them anyway- both speakers twice, no answer. I pulled up to the first window and no one was there. Waited in line for about 10 min then someone appeared in the first window and started taking orders. He never acknowledged me so when my turn came I pulled you the second window. I told the first lady I wasn't able to place an order because no one answered the speakers so she rudely turns away and tells her co-worker to take my order. He comes and says I need to drive around again and order thru the speaker because there's a line of people. I told him I wasn't going to because I did and no one answered. He interrupted me mid sentence and told me to place my order, I said my order three times but he kept interrupting me, rolling his eyes, saying how he has an attitude. Two separate orders, two cards. He rang them both up under one order. When I told him for the fourth time that was wrong he tries to close the window on me. So I say you don't have to have an attitude with me. So he rolls his eyes again and sighs, me and my family didn't want the food anymore so we told him to void the incorrect order and we left. I'll never ever go back to this McDonald's again. It was the...
