Wendy's — Restaurant in Locust Grove

I feel horrible for the manager. Stopped in about 3:30 on a sat afternoon, straight off the interstate and finally got to the counter to place my ordered after waiting for 20 min. Whopping 4-6 people in front of me. I stood at the counter for at least 1-2 min before the young man finally acknowledged me while he stood fidgeting and walking back and forth attempting the “we are real busy” mode but not actually accomplishing anything. He wad taking the orders but could not figure out what needed to be placed in the bags/trays after he took the order. Meanwhile, the manager of the store was killing her self running the drive thru, the deep fryers, and bagging food and also assisting the girl in the back who never moved more than two to three steps that was prepping food for both drive thru and the counter. The manager had to repeatedly ask the girl prepping food what she needed as well as help Ryan take orders for the counter and make sure he could bag them. During the time it took for Ryan to take my order, or at least half of it, the manager had made a call to someone trying to get help, and it was obvious that it was not offered, given her defeated posture. All we ordered was a fry, a salad and a 4for $4.00. I gave the guy exact change and he had to count it several times and by the time it was said and done -another employee had locked the doors so that no one else could come in, actually locking my husband...

This is the second time I ordered from this Wendy’s. I purposely waited months after the first time I ever ordered from this specific location. To add I use to live in NY and Wendy’s was my one of my favorite fast food restaurants even though a it’s more pricey it WAS worth it. Now since living here I have to say Im not impress with this Wendy’s at all. The food is always cold and the time of service is unaccepted. For example on my most recent order I ordered nuggets, a Dave single, and fries NO SALT to ensure the fries would be fresh. The bun on the burger wasn’t fresh. Not that it was expire but it definitely had the texture of a bun straight out the packet no warmth just a cold bun. The fries was cold, nuggets cold and overall on two different occasions this location has been a let down. I will not give them the benefit of the doubt and say they probably are busy because the Wendy’s I use to go to in NY was ALWAYS busy and the service, quality and time was always up to par. Bottom line this Wendy’s needs to be revamped. Staff needs to be retrained and most importantly management needs to step up. I know it’s just fast food but this is a job. People are paying their hard earned money to eat here provide the service that equals to how much...

Sunday afternoon, only 2 people ahead of us,took like 10 minutes to even place the order,then 15 minutes to get it,order taker,Destiny was very rude to others who were waiting obviously too long ,never said thank you,kiss my ass,have a nice day or a knowledge they were even Customers! ! Thought seriously about leaving and going to Burger King across the street, stayed though and got treated the same,also Single combo meat was cold after waiting all that time for it.Wife got chicken tender combo,overcooked.At least 6 employees were behind the counter area,but only one person taking orders and filling them,very sweet and embarrassed seemingly New employee was very polite and courteous and helped by getting our drinks properly and getting condiments, ketchup was empty in both pumps and people had already reported it.New girls name was Breana my wife noticed,she'll certainly be a good employee if she gets with someone who has a better personality and professional manner.Personally we won't go back to the Locust Grove location near Tanger..oh yea,looking over behind the counter you could see the nastiness of the kitchen area,not a good sign,but I was almost hangry,because this was a late lunch,and the whole tiled waiting area floor...
