Burger King — Restaurant in Locust Grove

First of all, I am a Burger King fiend. I don't eat fast food really, except for BK, and l've eaten at literally 100 plus locations, probably more, all over the entire country. I buy so much Burger king, I actually have a corporate Representatives phone number, and typically they read my reviews and reach out to me when I'm at a less than impressive location, so trust that this review is real. I typically don't give five stars for fast food, but the way that this place has been bashed, it's justified. First I went in, and the very nice lady acknowledge me and asked me if I had been helped, which I helped myself because I made a mobile order. She then offered me a cup of sweet tea! But politely declined, because that's not really my gig. The other nice kid in the back, also offered me some other food other than what I ordered but I politely decline that too, because I don't eat much fast food. I ordered my signature Whopper, heavy all including jalapenos. Probably 7 out of 10 BKs Give me what I actually order. THIS BK Whopper, WAS.ON.POINT. probably in the top five Whoppers of all time that I've had all over the US. This location was particularly very very clean. You can even see scrub marks, where they scrub down the stainless steel in the back. The drink station was nice and tidy, and the dining room was clean as well Very very very good experience here, and I ended up in Locust Grove by chance last night, but this is definitely one of the better BK's I've been to in America.

It might sound a bit over the top, but it's true. You can't please everyone, but...

I feel sorry for the ones that rate this place as a 5 star seems employees are boosting the ratings. Have lived here since 2008 and this has become the absolute worse place in town. The staff there usually cant be bothered to even take your order until they finish what they're doing at that moment on their phones. Half of them can't make change because their nails are so long they can't get the change out of the drawer. They have had a "broken" shake machine after 1:00 p.m. for over 2 years now, the food 70% of the time is cold, or greasy as all get out .. (I guess the greasy days are the good ones at least the food is warmer) .. assuming you even get your correct order, and tonight they've even hit a new low... now after 8:00pm they're out of burgers. I know I won't be back there. There is another one 2 exits up that does great the franchisee there at least cares enough to make sure he can turn a profit. The owner of this store obviously has made enough that they just don't care if the place gets run straight into the ground. Really kinda sad .. I've even called the corporate number in the past to complain and they say they have no control over franchise stores.. Was always such a good place when they thought they were competing with other companies but obviously that has been dropped to...

I've said b4 I would not go back but we always go back because it's been a while since the time b4, but this place just can't get it together. The drive thru always takes forever and if you actually get to place an order ( because they r always out of something) it's going to be wrong. All we get is chicken sandwiches and I can't count the number of times they have been out of them, and chicken fries. But when they do have them I always have to take them back in because they put mayonnaise on them when I ordered them without. On one occasion a guy behind the counter just wiped it off and gave it back then wanted to argue with me when I saw him do it, u could still see it on the chicken! But tonight like many after sitting at the intercom for 10min they tell me they only have burgers and fries. I guess the manager doesn't have enough smarts to order more when they r constantly running out! I wish they would spare everyone 30 min of their life and just close...
