This particular McDonalds location (L.B. Blvd. & Pacific Coast Highway) seems as if it is ran without any management team.. The employees that work there are incredibly unorganized, unprofessional, and they lack the basic skills that sould be required of them. It seems to be no fault of the employees because I've yet to see any manager on duty and if the rare occasion does occur that there is a manager on duty, there really is no difference. As a customer I'm never greeted let alone greeted with a smile which is ABSOLUTELY non existent. I am a regular customer and my reason for my return visits is only due to the fact it's close to my home, working walking distance, so I'm left with few other options... Out of all of the employees there is only One, ONLY ONE employee that truly knows what she is doing. I can not recall her name unfortunately but she's a long time employee that works during the day time hours. She's a little bit older, She's incredibly professional, friendly and always greets the customers with a big bright smile.. The reason I have a two star rating is only because of her If it wasn't for this model employee I would of not given this location Al even 1 star, that's how bad it is . What should be done is simple.. This employee I'm speaking of, middle aged women that works during the day time hours, she should train any and all new incoming employees, train then to follow her lead, do as she does, she should also get a raise and if she desired she should run the place. I have a feeling the entire situation would do a complete turn around if she was in charge. Sadly the"Great Employees" aren't always appreciated but something's gotta give because each time I visit it only seems to get worse and worse with each and...
Read moreI guess they went back to systemic racist practices in which they call people of color from the back to help customers of color instead of using the active cashier who isn't of color. The Active cashier miraculously reappears once the customer of color is finished completing their order. I cant imagine how they're able to communicate effectively between each other to let someone know that someone of color is in the front and an employee needs to come from the back to help them.
the cashier who should have been helping you miraculously comes from the back with your food, quick fast and in a hurry (fully staffed facility) finishing your order prior to orders that were ordered prior to yours.
Its Safe to assume that they don't want anything to do with us and they're really quick to get us out the door and not in a positive way.
Not even a welcome to McDonald's, thank you for your order, security guard blocking the front entry way doing patrols around me, Really hostile environment.
The cashier didn't want to take my order yet went to the back to prepare my food. Which I didn't want to eat it, the person who gave me the food heart (the active cashier) may have been filled with hate.
people do some wild things with food and if you can't even be take my order how can you go to the back and make my food and serve me?
I'm just asking for some consistency due to being geographically oriented in urban America where we have a mixed demographics of Hispanics and African Americans.
McDonald's should be unbiased and as far as I'm concerned all of our money is green.
To the employee who got called from the back to take an order of 2 Chickens and a Sweet...
Read moreIt's not going to make a difference but if you're going to say you open at 6am then be open at 6 because people who are trying to be on time for work rely on your word. And then you have an incompetent cashier that doesn't understand or listen to orders!!! I said I want a sausage egg mcgriddle and he was like a sausage, egg and cheese? And the a lady as for a coffee with 6 creamers and said it twice and he still asked her how many? Oscar needs to better or he can go back to mopping floors and wiping tables because his customer service was also poor. How you going to get an attitude with the customer because they had to correct you in order to ensure you get their order is right??? Also a helpful hint to avoid unsatisfied customers and bad reviews; communication is a useful tool. If your late opening and someone is knocking at the door, simply acknowledging them and letting the guest know you need a moment could eliminate possible guest dissatisfaction. Avoid eye contact isn't the best solution and making eye contact and then turning away is worst. Because now the customer is going to feel...
