Snarf's Sandwiches — Restaurant in Longmont

It has been 3 years since I made it to this place due to a negative experience back then that I left unreviewed. I don’t typically leave reviews as I just don’t return, but I wanted to give this location another chance based on recent positive reviews. This will be my last time purchasing from a Snarfs unfortunately.

First, I gotta say, it has nothing to do with customer service at an interaction level. I ordered online for pickup. The interaction was brief. My problem is the price for what I got. I understand supply chain issues during these difficult times. I completely understand that things are struggling for restaurants to be able to order and items have become more expensive. I used to manage a Jersey Mikes so I at least somewhat understand food cost and labor costs in a sandwich shop that’s a franchise chain. It’s even worse since Covid so I am not blaming the staff here as they do not set the pricing. I paid $19 for my sandwich and the only part worth it was the tip to the staff whom I already know are underpaid for the world we currently live in. My sandwich had virtually no meat and I got my hands dirty taking it apart when I noticed it seemed slim for a $19 foot long.

Anyway, I am not upset and I am not going to email corporate or take a free sandwich with nothing on it like this one. I’m just disappointed...

The unassuming name and exterior lend little to the wonders contained within. While the price point may seem high at first glance, allow me to share while I feel it was well earned (along with a generous tip).

Employees were happy, this is a huge deal. Happy people tend to be more alert and present in general. That joy is shared with you as a guest, and your sandwich (as it is lovingly hand crafted)

I watched the employees (yes, each food handler did this) actually appropriately wash their hands. Each one with water I could see steam on, for at least 10 seconds. They did this inbetween customers, and after handling cash.

Not to be lewd, but thats forkin' sexy. Sadly, this is the standard, yet so many others fall short of it. It is because of it that I believe they deserve to be recognized for the clealiness of their person, but also their establishment.

Don't get me wrong, the establishment looks lived in, but that just made me feel at home.

The ingredients in my sandwich were bountiful and satisfying. I never felt any one bite was overwhelmed by any one ingredient. Every bite was as fulfilling as the first. When I was finished with my sandwhich I wanted for nothing. I was full without feeling overly so.

I recently had the pleasure of trying the Italian sandwich at this place, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! The sandwich was packed with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The savory combination of thinly sliced salami, pepperoni, and capicola, paired with tangy pepperoncini , created the perfect balance of flavors. The freshly baked sub roll was crisp on the outside yet soft and warm on the inside, making every bite just as satisfying as the last.

Not only was the food incredible, but the customer service was equally outstanding. The staff was friendly, attentive, and really went above and beyond to make sure my experience was perfect. They were quick to answer questions about the menu and made me feel welcomed from the moment I walked in. It’s clear that they take pride in both their food and their service.
