When I pulled up to the McDonald's in Los Alamos, NM there was only 1 car ahead of me and no cars behind me in line so they definitely were not busy. I placed an order for Medium Big Mac Meal with a Diet Coke to drink. I also ordered a side of BBQ and Sweet And Sour Sauce. After I paid at the first window I went to the second window to pick up my food order. I asked the girl at the window numerous times to please put napkins in my bag. She kept on reassuring me that she would. After about 4 minutes of waiting she instructed me to go park in Reserve Spot #1 to wait for my order. Let me remind you that I was the only customer in line by this time so I was a bit confused as to why I had already waited 4 minutes plus I needed to wait additional time in the Reserve 1 Spot. I waited in Reserve 1 Spot for about another 4 to 5 minutes before a young kid by the name of Sergio came to my window with what I thought was my order. I told him what my order should be and he looked in the McDonald's bag that he was holding and he quickly realized that he had the wrong order. So he then went back in the McDonald's for my order which took another 3 minutes. When he came back I checked the bag that he gave me and of course the napkins that I had requested more than a few times were not there. So I told him that I had asked for napkins at the second window a few times and I asked him to please go and get me some because I had a young child in the truck that would be eating. He then looked at me like I was inconveniencing him and he walked back to the McDonald's where I thought he was getting me the napkins I had requested more than once. I waited and waited for him for about 6 minutes or so before I realized that he was not coming back with my napkins. This to me is unacceptable customer service. Items such as straws, napkins, and ketchup should automatically be in all of the to go bags that you get when you go through the drive thru. My order was not fresh on top of that. The Big Mac and French fries were cold and definitely not fresh. After waiting so long for my order I expected it to be fresh. I spend money at this McDonald's on a regular basis because both my kids like it and because it's one of the only fast food restaurants in Los Alamos and more than usual either the service is terrible, the food doesn't taste fresh, or they forget to put the toy in my son's Happy Meal. I think it's about time that I find a new place to get take out. I advise anyone who goes there to be prepared for a all around terrible experience. I'm not a high maintenance customer either because I've worked in the restaurant industry before. But after working in this field for so long I what's right and wrong when it comes to dealing with customers food and the way things are done at the Los Alamos McDonald's is definitely not...
Read moreWent through drive thru placed my order at 358pm paid cash, was asked to park at window #2. At 415pm I asked the lady to speak to a manager as I have been waiting 15 min and 10 people behind me have already gotten their food. The manager Maria told me the lobby was full, I simply replied I don't understand how 10 ppl behind me have gotten their food and I ordered to burgers and I'm still waiting 15min later. She told me it wasn't her problem and I told her yes ma'am it is your problem, your the manager and I've been waiting. She grabbed cash threw it in my car and told me to leave. I asked to speak to a store manager and she pointed to her badge and said honey that's me, leave. I told her I wasn't going to leave until I got her manager name and she called the LA police on me. Very unprofessional and horrific customer service. I would be ashamed to have an employee muchless a manager speak to my customers like she did with me. Never once did I get disrespectful, I just wanted and update, my food and to speak with a manager. Negative stars for...
Read moreVisited this location @ 1045am on May 5, 2024. Intended to dine in. All entry doors locked. Walked up to drive through window to ask attendant why doors are locked and patrons were inside eating. The pill stated they were closed! Not allowing anyone else to dine in. When asked why, she left and obviously inquired with management, who wouldn't even come to the window to explain, and returned to say they closed the restaurant . Great service and attitude by this team. Can't even put up a sign to inform customers....the franchisee must be proud to represent the branding so well. Again, small town where owner/franchisee thinks they can just arbitrarily shutter the business and I am sure the Brand loves having this types of operators...no wonder the Brand is making efforts to re-acquire. Thank you Los Alamos McDonald's for failing to provide your customers with essential information on...
