I am a PREVIOUS returning customer: I stopped coming because (1) simple requests basically never were considered (light cheese on pizzas) and (2) I got frustrated with the rather rude attitude of some of the front desk employees. The food tastes fresh. The prices are about average for the area. For a meal including pizza šŸ•, salad šŸ„—, and a soda 🄤, I pay between $30 and $40. The pizza dough is pretty thick and I had trouble finishing a medium sized pizza. On the pictures you can see a medium sized pizza and a small sized pizza. Normally, I do not have problems finishing a tasty pizza. Important: You order at a counter and then get the food brought to your table. Soda is available from a fountain and you drink out of a paper cup. This setting is fine for informal meals but maybe not appropriate for a business lunch/dinner or a first date. My negative points are: (1) For an Italian restaurant, I would like to see more pizza choices. (2) Also, I had the same salad (Greek) on several different occasions and the size differed significantly, see pictures. (3) The friendliness of the staff varies a lot and is more on the European side (= not so good). (4) On several occasions, the cutlery was not clean enough and I or my friends had to ask for clean cutlery. (5) For some reason, it never works out when I order "light cheese" on a pizza, I tried several times to explain that I want less cheese.

My sister's gluten intolerance goes perfectly with my gluten intolerance denial. When my sister came home with food from the Pasta Market, I was looking forward to doing my typical mooching. Unfortunately, she got gluten free spaghetti and wasn't in the sharing mood. I was only granted one bite of the spaghetti. Luckily, she didn't get any gluten free bread. She told me I could have the rest of the bread. The bread was magnificent. I could just eat it plain, but it didn't taste plain at all. I feel like bread is typically dependent on other foods. It usually needs butter, jam, cheese, olive oil, or is part of a sandwich. This bread was different though. It didn't need to lean on any other foods. It was a strong independent bread that was great by itself. That's the best kind of bread. A bread that doesn't need anything else, but itself. Other foods can join this bread to make it even better, but this bread ain't gonna rely on any other food. This bread knows it's self worth. Anyways, this place has one of the best breads I've ever tried.

We came to have a pizza before going to movies. This place was a great choice. I liked everything from the interior to the service and food. The interior is very cozy, spacious and Italian: checked tablecloths, photos of Italian historic places, tiny Venetian balcony in the dining room. The place has plenty of tables, all of them were free when we were there. I appreciated that the tools plates and cups were real, not one-time plastic ones. We ordered a large pizza and some olives, paid around 33 usd. The food arrived quite fast, the pizza was big, a lot of toppings, we managed to eat only half and asked for a box for the rest. The pizza tasted great, olives as well. The service was very friendly and helpful. Overall, the place was great, I will come again.

The worst customer service, I would give a 0 star if I could.

The food here has always been below average but a fast and easy bite to eat for working people. Living and staying in the bay area for over a decade I can assure you that both the quality of the food and the quality of the people who work there have severely declined. They barely greet you upon entering. You’ll wait in a long line after which they’ll begrudgingly take your order and throw you your receipt without a smile. Then you’ll proceed to wait for your to go order for approximately 15 to 20 minutes while watching everybody who has orders in the store get their food way before you.

Oh DO NOT BRING KIDS HERE!!!!!!!

The workers, particularly the fat woman behind the counter, will glare at them upon entering until you leave. If they move anything on the tables she will tap on the glass as some ghetto ass way of telling them to stop even though I’m right there and she could have asked me to tell them to stop touching the table but I’m sure saying that outloud to your paying customers would sound ridiculous, so instead she does something passive aggressive.

Never come here. Save your...
