Utilized this restaurant for a catering and had an absolutely awful experience when we made the complaint of over 20+ individuals getting sick with a stomach flu, and the manager of the location got extremely defensive instead of offering apologies. He tried finding every possible rationale to indicate that his restaurant did not make us sick and was offended that such a serious allegation was made.
The restaurant insisted that it had to be the breakfast or dinner, even though all of the folks that got sick did not have the exact same meals for breakfast or dinner, but they all had lunch from this venue. Half of the group does not work at the same place and we all came together specifically to have THIS lunch so there is no way that we all had something for breakfast or dinner that made us sick. This is also a doctor's office that focuses specifically on infectious diseases. So, he can try and fool other idiots, but not us.
To top it off, he decides to make this claim that there is no way his perfect A+ FDA rating would allow for this. All that simply has to be done is to make an apology and take some form of accountability but to completely write off over 20+ people being extremely sick with diarrhea, vomiting, and nausea is ridiculous.
The sad part is that the food was actually great and it's unfortunate that their leadership and management can't be an adult and take accountability for something that definitely made all of us...
Read moreAfter walking in and placing our order, we realized they were closing in 5 minutes! The staff were very friendly despite us ordering so late. We realized our mistake and changed our order to take out (so that we didn't keep them there after closing) but they were very polite and offered us to stay.
We ordered two chicken shawarma plates, swapping the salad for fries on one order. The chicken was ok, a bit dry and underseasoned, though we did order just before closing time. The garlic sauce was delicious and helped improve the chicken. There was a large amount of rice under the top layer of chicken, which was a little disappointing. The plates came with a good amount of salad (or fries!) and hummus, though the hummus was a little bland. They also included a bag of pita bread with our order - not sure if they always do this, or if they were giving it away at the end of the day. Either way, it was a nice bonus!
The drink selection was good, with lots of options in the cooler. The interior was new and clean, with fun Christmas and Hannukuh decorations placed around.
Overall, this new spot has great service, but the food was a little more bland than other Mediterranean places I've tried. Looking forward to coming back (closer to normal dinner time) and trying more...

The food and service were GREAT! We had kibbeh and kafta kabobs. I personally prefer to eat kibbeh with lemon, which they didn't provide, but hey that's me!! They generously served the food with extra tadziki and pickled beets. YAYYYYY I would recommend this spot. They had eat in and take/carry...
