I had a truly disappointing experience at Melodia Restaurant on July 27, 2025, and feel compelled to share this so that future guests know what to expect and hopefully, management takes accountability. Extremely Delayed Service: Our food took over 30 minutes to arrive. One item, the steak arugula salad, which we clearly ordered, never even came, either the server forgot it or it was unavailable like many other missing menu items. No one informed us. No Starters or Hospitality: At most quality restaurants , especially Russian ones, you’re at least offered a small starter or bread while you wait. Here, nothing was served except a bottle of Coca-Cola. Ironically, that was the only thing we managed to enjoy, because it was untouched by the restaurant’s kitchen. Deceptive Time Estimates: When I asked the waitress how long the food would take, she told me “1 or 2 minutes.” It took 13 more minutes just after that assurance. Totally misleading and unprofessional. Inedible Dishes: The fish dishes were absolutely terrible. I couldn’t eat them, and my daughter , who was already exhausted ( started to sleep) from the long wait had nothing suitable to eat. I begged the staff to just bring simple cucumber and tomato, and even that came drenched in oil with some odd spice again, inedible. Excuses Instead of Service: When I asked for the check just to leave, the server explained that one of the chefs wasn’t working, which apparently caused all the issues. If you’re short-staffed, why take new customers and serve poor quality food and service?! Still Charged Full Price: Despite the poor experience, missing items, and uneaten food, we were charged the full $87.10. No compensation, no discount, not even an apology. Misleading Reviews: This place claims to be a 4.9-star restaurant, but based on our visit, it’s more like a café or tea house with limited menu, one overworked server, and zero customer care. If there were a 0-star option, I would’ve selected that. The 1 star is just to ensure this review posts.

Final Note to Management: You need to seriously retrain your staff, improve kitchen operations, and stop accepting guests if you’re unable to provide basic service. Until then, I can’t recommend this...
