I went to this place on a whim and I walked out a very, very satisfied and happy customer. In terms of decorations, there is not a lot, but what it does use gives the place a very unique atmosphere. It's not overly bright, not is it too dark. If you so wish, they offer seating outside as well. The food here was absolutely amazing! Let's start with the strawberry lemonade. Not only was it tasty, citrusy, and very refreshing, but it was also refillable for free! That alone is awesome, but then I was served my food and I almost forgot about the lemonade because I was met with an explosion of flavors from every item on plate. Explosion may conjure a sense of really strong and overpowering tatstes. That was not the case here. Everything blended together in harmony accentuating what makes each ingredient unique. The sticky rice went so well with the sauce that they provided. If you want to go on a journey of flavors, this place is for you and you can rest assure knowing that the service is just as good.

I got the thai basil gimlet to drink, the seafood hot and sweet basil as an entree, and the fried calamari as an appetizer. I seriously love basil, and all the dishes delivered! Everything was amazing. The calamari, served with a sweet dipping sauce and carrots fried in the same manner, was perfectly crunchy while being light on the batter and oil; it was seriously perfect, I can't say I've had better! The seafood basil entree was perfect too! It came with all varieties of seafood; white fish, shrimp, clam, and a mussel, served with basil and sliced peppers. The sauce absolutely delivered on the name, being spicy and sweet, salty with a hint of brown sugar. I poured my rice in to the bowl and ate it all up. I ate the salad last, lettuce and carrot in a sweet clear dressing. The drink was heavy on the basil, sweet and savory, I'm not one to describe alcohol well but it hit the spot! I'll be back before I leave town for sure!

I’m not from around this area so I’ve been exploring the food scene for lunch. I’ve been to this restaurant 3 times and this time, I’ve had it. I first time I ordered, I got the beef salad and was pleasantly surprised with the flavor the amount of meat to sale ratio but it was almost $20 for lettuce and beef!!! Quite pricey for a salad. It tasty so I decided to try again. I got the spicy chicken wings. These must of been the “chicks” because I’ve never seen wings so little! I spent over $18 for 6 baby wings and so sides!! I told myself to NEVER go back but, I decided to try one last time and this is what I got! $20 for fried rice with barely any meat or shrimp and TON of rice. The chicken skewers are tough. I’m truly disappointed in this restaurant. The food is just “okay” for the price you pay. The service is okay too but don’t ask them why you get so little, they tell you “prices go up. Everything more expensive now!”.

I've ordered food from the San Pedro location and each time was either a hit or miss. I like to give businesses a chance before I leave a negative review, just to be fair. I think I've given BT enough chances.

Pros:

*I've never had a problem with the staff. Each time I've ordered, I've experienced professional service.

*I never had to wait long for my food.

Cons:

*The last few times I've ordered, my food was not up to par. I'm not a picky eater either. For instance, I ordered the Surf and Turf and I was not satisfied with the dish at all. The filet mignon was tough, dry, and somewhat burnt. The rice was too dry and brittle, and the shrimp was overcooked. The dish tasted like warmed-up left-overs from the restaurant served the day before. The dish was bland, to boot.

*Although I think the food is overpriced, I don't mind paying extra for it, as long as it's cooked well. I don't know if they have a new chef now but my last few orders were not palatable. Actually, I enjoyed the food more when I purchased take-out orders when Covid was at it's peak. One time I ordered the Thai Sweet Sticky Rice and it was so overcooked that some of the rice was hard, stuck together, and difficult to chew. I really want to like BT as I'm fond of supporting local businesses.

Conclusion:

Overall, I was pleased with the dishes at BT during Covid times but now, I don't know if I should continue to "bet"on BT and gamble my money away, hoping to get a good-tasting meal. I might give the restaurant another try. But, if I'm not happy the next time, I'm going to have to...

This place used to be really good, I used to order take out at least twice a month. The last few times the food was not that great and cold. So I stopped ordering from there. I had company in town and thought if we went to the restaurant it would be better. Wow was I wrong. There were 5 of us, when we arrive they had 1 other table. THe place is really cool vibe and the outdoor patio is nice to sit and take in San Pedro. The service was really bad. We had wait for ever just to order and to get drinks, which I thought was weird as there was no one there. We ordered and it took 25 minutes to get our entrees which two came out and the others were sitting waiting for their food, 6 minutes went by then they brought another two dishes out. My nephew was sitting there waiting for his food. I got up and went inside to ask staff were his dish was. There was no one in restaurant. The staff said coming, coming, finally after 35 minutes my nephews entree came out. The food was better than my take out experience, but I will not be coming back or ordering take out from Baramee. I hope they fix their issues cause my neighbor also used to order frequently and they also stopped due to poor quality. It amazes me as they used to have...

My new bestie invited me to lunch and thoughtfully picked Bremee after I mentioned I was vegan. I was excited—not just because I’m vegan, but because I love discovering vegan-friendly options at places that aren’t strictly plant-based.

I arrived a little early to find parking, which was no issue at all—metered spots were available right in front. I noticed a few outdoor tables, though they weren’t set up at the time. No worries—it was a bit chilly anyway. So I stepped into this adorable little spot in the heart of San Pedro and grabbed a cozy table—second on the left as you walk in.

When my bestie arrived, she gave me the lowdown on the menu favorites. I couldn’t wait to try the pad Thai, the veggie soup, and a Thai tea with coconut milk. The tea was a fun twist and surprisingly refreshing. The pad Thai was delicious and full of flavor, and the veggie soup was perfectly seasoned with a generous helping of vegetables.

The server was very friendly and attentive—we never had to wave her down or ask for anything twice. The atmosphere was lovely, quiet, and cozy, making it perfect for a relaxed lunch and real conversation.

I’ll definitely be back to visit this charming little gem in San Pedro. Vegan or not—Bremee is...
