Great food, super nice and friendly staff. The place might seem pricey, but every dish is big enough for 2 people! Share! I went there alone(mistake!), I had to take half of food home and some just left at the restaurant. I ordered Bibimbap Combo (#6, dinner) for $16.99 it comes with 6 side dishes (kimchi, pickles, fish, peanuts & 2 more I’m not sure about), hot pot of rice and hot pot of their signature tofu soup of your choice (I got assorted one with beef, clams & shrimp). They have 5 levels of spiciness; I got medium, because I love spicy food. I wasn’t shedding tears, but definitely felt the heat and I think even my face turned red :) Just be mindful. I was starving, but I could eat only half of my Bibimbap, ~90% of my side dishes and half of soup. The soup was a little heavy and oily for my taste, but still delicious and seemed like they put a whole pack of tofu in there! All ingredients in Bibimbap were fresh and delicious; as well as side dishes. Servers were helpful and caring. Highly suggest; definitely coming back myself.

Sit down...immediately the rude waitress walks to the table rushing the order...(and, they were virtually empty). Not familiar with their fare? Too bad..."look at picture...order," she demands with a pointy finger banging on the menue! At this point...were I alone...I would have left. But since it was my friends choice...we stayed. The "seafood" soup I ordered came with one small shrimp and one medium...(they should advertise it as tofu soup.) An ugly dead-dried-up looking fish..."putrified" by salt was slapped on a small white plate and thrown on the table in front of me. Ugly and nasty tasting. One thin paper napkin...that's all you get. Very dis-satisfyed meal. Didn't sit well in the tummy. My friend had beef and liked that dish. Rude service is never acceptable...especially in the restaurant business. I "normally" like Korean food...but this was just not right. On my "worst" top 10 list!

It’s been a while since I had tofu stew here so I couldn’t wait to order. I thought I had to order before sitting down because no one came to my table to take order. A little later, someone eventually did come, but I wouldn’t rate the service to be all that great. I ordered seafood tofu stew and asked it to be made mild. But I found it too bland for my liking. Perhaps if I ever come here again, I’ll get the combination tofu stew and have the spicy level medium. If there’s something I wish they would change is that they don’t leave the raw egg on a dish, but rather ask the customers if they want it cracked on their tofu stew. That way, the raw egg doesn’t need to be touched. Overall, the food was okay. But, I’ve noticed the price went up quite a bit.

some friends and i came to la on a trip for my birthday and this was our first stop when we got into town. immediately when we were sat they came to take our order and we didn't know the menu so we ask for more time. 2 minutes later she came back and we had to ask again for more time. instead of waiting longer and giving us some time she came back even sooner. this happened 2 more times until we were finally ready and she was visibly annoyed. we gave our orders and the rest of the time we were there she was really rude to us. she brought out the side dishes and rice and didn't allow us to serve our own rice. when she served the rice she only made 3 bowls even though there were 4 of us so i personally had to redistribute the rice when she walked away. we asked for drinks and she ignored us and didn't bring the drinks until we asked another server if we could get the drinks and when she brought them she seemed irritated again. all of us tried so hard to be extra polite and not upset her but she was so rude that my friend ended up crying and had to calm down outside the restaurant because the tension was so high and we couldn't just leave without paying the bill. the food when it got to the table was cold and not as good as my friend remembered the last time she went to the restaurant and when we were ready for the bill we had to ask another server to get her to give us the bill. despite us being really unhappy with the meal and genuinely hurt by how rude this woman was to us we still tipped and said thank you and have a nice day to her and she ignored us. we were so confused as to why this happened none of us were rude to her we tried so hard not to be too high maintenance but like if we don't know the menu we need a little time to look we didn't want to just pick something random because she didn't feel like waiting we were paying for our meal (the price of which is not exactly cheap) and wanted to enjoy what we got and for some reason this lady took her frustration out on us. it was the first stop on the trip after a stressful road trip and waking up early and we were so hungry and ended up leaving feeling awful and stressed. i understand if that lady was having a bad day but it was a really rough first meal on my birthday and ruined the afternoon for us. like truly DO NOT GO HERE unless you want mediocre food for a high price and...

I used to go here a lot of times but we decided not to go anymore after today's unpleasant experiences. We always order one dish for each person but today we didn't want to eat heavy and ordered one combo meal which is only a few dollars less than two regulars. The moment the waitress got our order, they started giving attitudes, with the other staff receiving the order screaming in rather rude disbelief "only one?!" so loudly as if she wants to humiliate us. We didn't mind much but after we finished the meal and were paying, the waitress came up to us trying to talk if the meal was ok while never attending to our table during the entire time until we finished the meal, and after we told her it was good, she brought it up to our face "yes, it is good that we weren't busy today so we could still you know (serve you)." Behind the pretense of nice smile, they were hiding ungrateful and rude attitudes for being the "in demand" restaurant, with some kind of entitlement, and there was the owner or manager sitting right there doing nothing while the waitresses were so openly being rude to us. As we walked out, we concluded it is time for us to stop comming to this restaurant no matter how much we used to like their foods. There is no reason for us to put up with such rudeness spending our hard-earned $33 ($29 including tax and $6 tip in cash) to such restaurants with such unpleasant entitlement when we could be welcome in other many restaurants and food plaza that we don't even have to pay tips. SMH. The toxic pride of these so-called in-demand restaurants is really...

Absolutely the WORST service I've ever got. I went in with my mom and ordered some tofu stews to go. When I was ordering, the server (whoever) was taking my order and looked super annoyed and bothered. I don't know what she was giving me that attitude. Anyways, I ordered and sat down on one of those tables and waited. I honestly expected some water offer or things but none of servers offered us water which is not bad, understandable since the place was getting full of diners. The problem was that they kicked us out and made us waited outside 85 degrees. We paid same amount and we had to get kicked out cuz we weren't dinjng in. We were told that there are so many people waiting outside but when we went out there, only 2 people were waiting and 4more people just finished dinner and came out. RIDICULOUS. I think even though there was a line of people, we had every single right to stay and wait for our food to come out inside of the restaurant. I felt like that they just want to sell as much food as they can, not considering ANY CUSTOMER SERVICE. Other servers ( not the old woman and manager looking old guy) seemed very nice and respectful. Finally, it was my the worst restaurant visiting experience and please consider again if you are planning to go. I proudly can say that customer service you are getting is more worth it...
