Pho gogo — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Not only is their pho broth some of, if not THE best that I’ve had in LA (or anywhere), the service is AMAZING and SUPER generous! Not just after but also hot tea (which they’ll also ice for you if you wish) is complimentary, and WAY more! Heaps of bean sprouts (DELICIOUS and gloriously crunchy in pho!), onion, jalapeno, Thai basil, sliced lime, and cilantro (which they’ll gladly replenish) are provided, and they’re all so delicious in their amazing pho! Also, they make in house a delicious sauce that I think consists if samba olec and garlic and maybe soy sauce or something and chili? It’s delicious, as is their spicier sauce, which is a purée similar in appearance to ketchup (but lighter) and is also delicious!! But wait, there’s more! They even provide a second batch of extra noodles to people who eat in so when you’ve nearly finished your pho it can start all over again, for free! I can’t imagine ever going anywhere...

Being in LA, you have a pho spot on every other street corner. However, we came here after checking out BCD and two other spots with 1+ hr wait times after the Lakers playoff game. No wait. It's a nice and quiet spot. It's in a plaza that would have plenty of parking most nights. Fusion pho, so you have ginseng chicken pho and spicy seafood jjamppong pho. Spring rolls are a fresh mix of shrimp and veggies. It would hit the spot if you're into veggies. Not what you expect if you're thinking of a classic spring roll. Combination pho was decent. Decent broth with MSG. Decent amount of meat, tripe, and tendons. They give you everything you'd get for veggies for the pho and a plate of onions which is nice since you won't have to ask for them. Service was great! Happy hostess. I think it's perfect for a late night last-minute bowl of pho. I wouldn't come here expecting typical pho, but would definitely try the fusion...

if i could rate this place higher i would! every part of this experience was so lovely. i called in asking for the wait, a man answered and said there was none. we came in, got seated promptly, and the man was so kind! he had the sweetest smile, answered our questions well, and just seemed genuinely happy to be there :) we got our food pretty fast, everything was incredible, and our server was very attentive. the man kept coming back, checking how we liked the food, and overall just made the experience much better. the server helped us pack our food to go, was very efficient with the check, and was also super sweet! overall, the service was so great and my friends and i will definitely make the drive over...
