I ordered 2 lunch specials one was brisket with baked beans and Coleslaw and the other beef ribs with collard greens and Mac n cheese. Waited 20 minutes for the food to be ready, as I waited I noticed the bbq pit started smoking a lot like when you first turn on the pit. I figured they were getting ready to bbq the next batch of meats. After the 20 minute wait I get my food and there is a very strong smell of smoke coming from the bag of food I was just given; the smole was very over powering to the point it was making me nauseous. I open my plate of brisket and find a generous portion of meat and baked beans with the coleslaw being in a cup. The coleslaw, as some have mentioned, was almost like a soup, flavor was there it just needed more cabbage. The baked beans aside from being sweet were bland in flavor. As for the brisket, it had a strong taste of sooty smoke and lighter fluid which made for an unpleasant experience. The meat was tender and the bbq sauce was delicious. The second plate was beef ribs with collard greens and Mac n cheese. Collard greens were sweet which was a surprise, they were good for a couple of bites but were too sweet to continue eating. The Mac n cheese was the best thing they served and would be the only thing I would return for. As for the beef ribs they were tough and under cooked,I was only able to eat half of one and tossed out the other one. I was thrilled to have found a bbq spot with such great reviews, my taste buds were drooling while I waited for the food, but unfortunately there was no pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

Not a big place and not really anywhere to eat but take away is fine by me. Walking up to this place it smelled delicious and I was ready to try it out. Wanted to get a little bit of everything without going overboard, so I thought. For the cost the portions are beyond generous. I really enjoyed the food but it was a little to much smokey flavor for me with the rib tips but I didn’t hesitate to keep eating them. The chicken literally fell off the bone when picking it up and the hot link wasn’t too hot and that was probably my favorite part of the meal. I only tried a little bit of the beans and potato salad both were good but the potato salad had a little too much mustard I believe for me. I recommend checking this little spot out especially if you’d like smoked bbq. The gentleman that took my order was super nice and helpful. He also told me when you check out the website or social media what you see is what you get. When I opened up the box to my surprise he was not lying what I saw is exactly what I got.

Drove out here from Anaheim, CA. Ordered a combo plate with spare ribs and also one with chicken, both with mac, plus tuna mac on one and potato salad on the other. Both were absolutely delicious. The mac&cheese is simple but delicious *slightly salty this time* mixed with some of the in-house sauce and some rib meat, it boosts it 10x. The tuna mac is smooth, the ingredients work harmoniously not to over power one another. The potato salad, this time, was a little smokey. Probably because It took me an hour or more to get home and the steam from inside the takeout plate condense and smokey droplets gathered on the top of the lid dropping over the food. Best to eat this food ASAP. I also ordered a smoked philly, which I dug into right away after the purchase. Id say its one of the best items on the menu. Overall all the meats were delicious and despite hating LA traffic I would totally come out here at least once a week!

Before I say anything, remember BBQ taste is highly subjective, especially when it comes to sides, its to your personal taste and expectation of what each side should taste like. But any BBQ lover agrees as long as the brisket is seasoned, falls apart and jiggles! And the meats are juicy and not dry, with an well put together BBQ sauce. Its a BBQ plate well done!

With that said, in my honest opinion I've got this to say. Ive had barbeque from Kansas, barbeque from Oklahoma, barbeque from Texas. Yet Bo Daddy's from humble LA, California remains king in my eyes. Bo just shows em up. This food makes me dance when I bite into it. The beans are delicious and well executed, the MAC N CHEESE, lemme pause right quick, THIS MAC my dude, special, filled with love. The BBQ sauce, unique and delicious, its got some love up in dat b, FO SHO. I always order double brisket cus the brisket is always on point and delicious! The beef and pork ribs, also smackers my dude!

My honest critique is really only this, and I say this with love so that it becomes better! One time I did order tri tips, I don't really eat tri tip for BBQ but I gave it a shot, and it wasn't chalky, it was moist, but, just a smidge, just a tad tough, STILL ALL the tri tip went down into my belly no problem haha! Otherwise, sheeesh man delicious smoked up meats. And delicious sides!

Here's my usual, Mac and Cheese, Baked Beans, Double Brisket. Peace and love in the name of Jesus, I hope for growth and blessings upon this BBQ joint, and...

I ran into this place by mistake, as I drove up Hill st coming from the 10 FWY I see people standing outside of this place Called Bo Daddys, now I could not resist the great smell of the smoked BBQ and could not miss the smokers outside of this place. I believe it's only pick up, so my suggestion is to order ahead. Food took anywhere between 20-30 min to be ready. Once I receive the order the person working not sure if it was Bo Daddy him self but he apologized for the long wait buy assured me that I would enjoy his food and even gave me a complimentary drink for the delay. NOW this man is awesome. I understand that I was one of his last customers, and I am sure he had a long day. Looks like it was a one man show. BACK to the food. Ohhhhh MMMM GEEEE the food was amazing, finger licking good amazing. I got a 3 meat combo came with my choice of brisket, chicken and pork ribs, and 2 sides, which I picked cold slaw and baked beans. The beans definitely take the win, and all 3 meats are amazing as well as the BBQ sauce, which I'm sure is a house BBQ sauce because iv never had anything like it. It's definitely a must try. This is a place I would drive to go grab. Don't judge a book by its cover and take my word, order some food, and give this place a great review. Food will speak for itself. PRICE IS GREAT AS WELL. I shared my portion with my GF and still had left over. Keep in mind we are not...
