Boba Story — Restaurant in Los Angeles

My drink was really good and so was my brother's. I tried one of the drinks off their top-10 menu, it was like a blended grain drink I never had before and it tasted like blended lucky charms, I loved it! He got the peach yogurt slush drink, this is a flavor he orders at many boba spots and he says this one was his favorite, hands-down. They were huge and took forever to finish which was a good thing because is usually the opposite with boba, gone way too fast lol.

The 4-stars isn't due to the product or the service per se. I just felt like the worker behind the counter was dealing with a lot and the owner should maybe consider keeping another person FOH. He was friendly and attentive, just seemed noticeably stressed. He handled cash from another customer who came in after us and then without washing his hands returned to continue making our drinks. I know that with the nature of the product it doesn't require him to use his hands beyond the outside of the cup so I didn't feel my drink was contaminated or anything but I still feel like it's worth mentioning. I know if he didn't feel so stressed being by himself that he likely would have felt he had the time to wash his hands.

If I could give this no stars I would. Girl on the phone is super rude. Called to ask me to substitute 2 of my items ordered which I was okay with. I asked her what she had for me to substitute it with and she said “ugh Well I can go check if that’s what you want me to do.” I said yes please since I need to know what I can substitute it with. She gave me 2 items, none of which I like so I asked her to cancel that item. For the second item I was asking her if I could substitute for popcorn chicken. I was halfway through that sentence when she hung up and I got a notification that my ENTIRE order had been cancelled. I was very understanding and calm while she was the complete opposite. I did not appreciate her attitude. I’m sure many people can now agree that this Boba Story has the worst...

Good food but unsafe for customers. We were enjoying our drinks inside and suddenly there's a man begging for food and won't leave even after us politely answered no. Also, there's a guy waiting for him outside that is looking very creepy. We told the staff that we were being harassed by two men and she said, "sorry about that". We left the store quickly passing by the two men and ready to be attacked. Good thing, our parking was near that we were able to be in the car as quick as possible. Good luck to customers inside (mostly young girls). They are better be aware and ready for any commotion that...
