Cafe Ruisseau — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I can NOT say enough good things about Cafe Ruisseau and their ownership team. An incredible husband and wife team who include their adult children in the business. We used their services during a 4 day conference on UCLA campus, for beverage and pastry services. Not only were they timely in delivery and set up but their willingness to drive multiple times a day to restock and refresh beverages and pastries was BEYOND accommodating. I am deeply grateful for their hard work and their deep rooted kindness. There were so many changes leading up to the event (even within a week) and there was never a foul word, never a sigh of frustration, or even a glimmer of negativity (even when they received a parking ticket through no fault of their own-which we are reimbursing them for). The cold brew and the organic lemonade were the hit of our event, but everything was fresh, refreshing, and the coffee was perfectly brewed (hot and cold). Adorable coffee shop with fresh air and tropical modern vibes. Open concept design, it’s like you go on a lovely walk and voila arrive at this oasis. And their coffees and teas are to die for. They have heavenly Matchas that they mix with lavender, or rose, etc, and they have butterfly tea! It’s a special non caffeinated tea that is adaptogenic and blends perfectly as a lemonade by adding a subtle earthyness.

It’s a great spot to meet up with a friend to catch up, a perfect place to get some work done on a lap top. There’s comfy chairs and desks. Also a great space to get lost in a book for a while ❤️

I have never rates anything before but I'm so disappointed with my experience that I had to. The coffee I ordered was supposed to be Nutella but it tastes like a normal latte. It was way overpriced at almost $7 and since it had such high ratings online I expected it to taste way different. There is only one worker and so my whole experience was longer than 30 minutes for waiting and ordering. My expectations were high because I saw it was rated five stars.
