Great spot for coffee and a sando. Actually the Best sandwich I’ve had in LA so far! The Tuna chop was delicious with it’s great mixtures of flavors and textures, get it in the OG Ciabatta! The crust was perfectly thin and crunchy with an airy fluffy dough immaculatley complimenting the sando. Ingredients were fresh and lip smacking tasty with the pepperoncini giving it a nice spicy punch to bring it all together. The service was solid and welcoming. the only thing I found a bit lacking was the atmosphere which was kind of bland and didn’t match the vibe and quality of food and coffee, witch was solid. We also had the French toast sticks and they were a yummy treat to finish up the meal. DO NOT skip this sando if your into any kind of tuna between a couple slices of bread. Shout out to @ricklox on IG for the recc! LOX level 10.10

Not to be dramatic but I think the Tuna Chop sandwich on ciabatta changed my life. The flavors meld so perfectly! The vinegar, pickled jalapeños, and pepperoncini are the perfect additions to a tuna salad, the crunch of the ciabatta is out of this world!!! It was about $24 out the door with tax and tip which seems high until I had my first bite and it became worth every penny. I will dream of it until I have it again! The staff was lovely and helpful with recommendations, try a side of their Peruvian hot sauce as well! So fresh with great flavor!

Where do I begin … Carla’s salads and sandwiches are simply the best in town. The ingredients are always fresh, the proportions are always consistent, and the taste always leaves me wanting more. The classic chopped salad is what I tend to order but my family loves the Rift with artichoke hearts ! You cannot go wrong with anything here … Tuna toast is also a new favorite ! The service is prompt and the space is welcoming. Great delivery and TAKEOUT too (Postmates or Uber eats)….

i’ve been a supporter of Carla café since they were selling out of bootsy. I was supposed to have dinner tonight and try their new dinner service and I was looking forward to it after having fractured my wrist pretty badly last week but on Sunday for I received an email that the establishment had decided to cancel my reservation and I tried reaching out and I wasn’t able to reach anyone to figure out what happened or what was going on. I can only guess that my reservation was canceled so they could give it to a friend as virtually every time I’ve been for lunch, I’ve watched staff fall over themselves getting food to people who are clearly friends of the owners while I waited 20-30 minutes for my order, at times having to politely ask when my food would be ready

I’m sort of left in a weird place where yeah the food is decent but I don’t think it’s worth the trouble anymore

also, sorry if there are any grammatical errors or spelling issues, I’m trying to use the voice to text thing since I can’t type at...

The new Carla Cafe flagship location on 3rd is quaint and cozy, with a Parisian flair. The food here is insanely good. Pricy - but for good reason - because you can easily tell the ingredients used at CC are at an elite level. Dont get me started on those french toast sticks (crack), or the Banana cream Matcha latte. The matcha is so clean and multi-dimensional, as a person who usually never goes for anything matcha -- i was hooked. Quite possibly the best matcha in LA, bar none. Also, Breakfast served all day?!?!?? Its the 2003 mcdonalds energy that we all needed, loved and adored. Cant wait for them to start extending hours and...
