Emanuel and his team at Crateful have been amazing to work with ever since we first came into contact with them. I cant express that enough. His roots from his motherland of Italy is obvious from the love he puts forward in his craft. He has a core that entails love of family, happiness and joy that he always expresses to everyone around him. During our tasting you can tell how much care he had for our ideas and style. He was very detail oriented and made sure everything was designed to our liking. We come from a Persian background that loves their Persian food. Everyone thought we should go with a traditional Persian caterer but from our very first email encounter with Emanuel we were excited to work with his team. He was able to accommodate our requests for our cultural and personal needs. All of our guests asked me how he was able to make such a delicious Persian Beef. All of his dishes were very delicious and presentation was perfect for our wedding. You can tell every individual dish was personally crafted towards perfection. Our venue changed last minute and he was still able to adapt to the constantly evolving situation. He even offered and helped with non-catering issues that we were dealing with during our tough time. The feedback we got from our guests was amazing. Him and his staff were very professional and welcoming to all our vendors and guests. I would absolutely love to work with Emanuele again and he would be great for any occasion. Where to start? Emanuele catered my fabulous wedding at the Houdini Estate here in Los Angeles. He and his entire team at Crateful Catering were AMAZING! First of all, I'm an Italian American - so it was important for me to have authentic Italian food. They knocked it out of the park with a number of Italian dishes including a fabulous Cacio e Pepe. That said, we also had a mix of appetizers, a charcuterie table, sliders and even a taco bar - so it was a really well-rounded presentation that gave our guests a number of options. Emanuele personally took the time to attend our pre-event walkthrough. He was also very responsive including answering after hours calls/texts when I needed to reach him - which is great because I'm usually busy with my companies during the day. He was available to talk when I was, which if you know anything about planning a wedding, you know that it can be stressful at times if you can't reach your vendors. I never had that problem with Emanuele. At one point we even had a little issue with the venue in terms of some contractual/layout items pertaining to the catering kitchen - and Emanuele was able to personally call in some favors with the venue owner to make a few things happen for us. In all, if you're looking for a standup guy, with a great company, to provide excellent customer service and even better food - particularly if you want anything Italian - don't hesitate to go with Emanuele Ponzo and Crateful Catering. Emanuele and Crateful Catering were awesome partners to work with for our wedding. After thoroughly evaluating over 20 caterers, we had booked Crateful for our wedding over 1.5 years ago, but we'd had to delay it until recently for obvious reasons. Throughout the entire time, Emanuele was flexible, responsive, and professional as we navigated the pandemic together. Even when our guest count dropped from 175 to 125 due to the Delta variant and other life events, Emanuele worked with us to make the experience even better for the guests who could make it.

His creative vision, attention to detail, and dedication to his craft are second to none. We asked for cuisine to reflect the diverse countries we've visited, and he presented an amazing menu of tasty and beautiful options. The food was some of the best I've ever had at any wedding. Our venue (City View Penthouse at South Park Center) was on the 30th floor of a skyscraper but required the kitchen to be set up in a parking lot outdoors, with all food being transported via elevators. Not a problem for Crateful, as Emanuele directed his staff towards flawless execution in an extremely challenging environment. Even though we booked a different vendor for bartending, Crateful stepped in to cover some of their missteps during the event. We couldn't have asked for a better caterer to make our event...
