ecco un poco | Natural Italian Gelato — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Husband and wife team gelato shop with fresh, house made rotating flavors. This is a really cute stop for dessert, and it’s gluten-free and has vegan options. Came here on a Thursday night after dinner at AOC on the walk back to my car - so glad we stumbled upon this little gem! The owner Alex was very warm and welcoming, and let us try a variety of flavors. We chatted for quite some time and learned that they had studied how to make gelato in Florence, so you know that everything was legit. The flavors were all very strong and there was a good mix of standard and interesting flavors. I got the chocolate (yes I know, I’m basic) and was pleasantly surprised to hear that one scoop was only a little over 100 calories and was vegan! The salted caramel was also a really yummy flavor, and was super smooth and creamy. If you’re into pistachio, the pistachio flavor was very nutty and also a good call. Definitely get it in a waffle cone - they made them freshThey do take credit card and there’s patio seating plus one outdoor table that’s good for people watching. Street parking is available along 3rd St and is metered. Overall, definitely come check this place out for an after-dinner treat or whenever you’re craving some...

This is simply the best Gelato place in whole LA county, if not beyond. I'm 100% Italian from Rome, live here in LA, and i am an Executive Chef, so trust me, i know exactly what I am talking about. Not only you will find the best variety of Gelato flavors (Parmigiano Reggiano and pear is just one example, EXCEPTIONAL! so good), but the quality and flavors are INSANE! Not to mention how pure and healthy their recipes are. Alessandro and Alejandra are exemplary tireless workers, they opened few minths ago, unfortunately just before Covid19 happened, and we know how hard the first few years of any business are, let alone with Covid19. They never gave in, and still provide us with the REAL flavors of ITALY!!! I will definitely bring all my friends here and brag about it :))) and you should do the same! Oh! Lets not forget they have things like, gluten free AND vegan cones, as well as Gelatos... and they taste just as good as the regular ones... i couldn't believe my own tongue... Thank you artists, now i don't miss gelato from Italy, i have it right...

I am obsessed with this place! Everything is GLUTEN FREE and authentically Italian, so of course delicious. I never knew pastries could taste so healthy. I drive 30 minutes every weekend just to buy their ice cream, gluten free cannoli and tiramisú (or honestly whatever other pastry they freshly made that day). Also, being gluten free my whole life, I've never had good gluten free pastries or an option for gluten free ice cream cones! And don't even get me started on how amazing the owners are, truly caring and good people. Just do yourself a favor and try it out, especially if you're gluten free!
