Ubatuba Açaí - Beverly Grove — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I'm so happy I had the opportunity to checkout Ubatuba Açaí in the Beverly Grove area, it reminded me of being in Brazil my favorite country to Visit. The staff Gilbert and Elany (not sure if I spelled her name right) were very helpful. And Elany the manager and most of the staff is from Brazil making it feel more authentic when you eat the food. They both helped me decide which empanada and açaí bowl to order as well as the toppings. I ordered the Beyond Philly Empanada and added the chimichurri and hot sauce which made it even more delicious. I also had an açaí bowl with granola, almonds, chia seeds, strawberries, bananas, and almond butter. It was absolutely amazing and made me feel like I was on Ipanema Beach watching the waves. Loved my time here! I was welcomed and helped by Lais who was so incredibly nice. The spinach and cheese empanada was delicious and I especially loved the crunchy outside but melty inside. Just saw a review lady was upset there is no number two. UBA TUBA NUMBER TWO IS THE BEST THING IN UBA TUBA! The first time i came here was upset too and then i realized you can ADD PASSION FRUIT PULP. Honestly i dont really love the taste of acai by itself. BUT ACAI W PASSIONFRUIT PULP IS LIKE THE NECTAR OF THE GODS. Its literally so good it makes me salivate just thinking about it. ALWAYS ASK FOR THE PASSION FRUIT PULP. Love uba tuba....
