Just wanted to leave a quick statement involving yesterday 10/7/24, I was enjoying my meal when I couldn’t help to notice this couple coming in, didn’t think much of it of course just, regular people coming in to enjoy their food whatever, when all of a sudden this lady in a pink dress came up to the to this lady that was working there stating her meal was missing condiments and sauce, and I heard the lady tell her that the sauce was in the meal already, and she still didn’t seem satisfied with that answer then came this young man and she started claiming that her food was runny, disgusting, and about her wanting them to make her meal more crispy and to regrill it, I find that ridiculous on how someone in their right mind would think to go to a restaurant take a bite off their food and state “grill my food some more because it’s too runny” when clearly they had taken a bite off their meal and honestly I just wanted to say how it bothered me in how they were treating your employees, they left a salty/childish review claiming that no one was trying to resolve the issue, terrible customer service etc, but honestly they weren’t even letting the employees finish talking, they would just speak over the poor employees, the young man that was trying to help her out; I could hear the poor guy trying to explain to the lady, but she just kept asking for things in such a demanding tone, and talking over him. honestly she was so loud I could hear her over the music they had playing and I was farther away than where she was, eventually even the boyfriend of this lady was just telling her to let it go, but she kept insisting on them fixing her meal, and honestly I don’t see where any logic would come in to them wanting their meal to be re grilled when I could hear the employee stating that they had already taken a bite off their meal. Honestly That would just be cross contamination times infinity, yeah no thanks, also I clearly remember there being a sign right in between the tablets explaining why the food looks runny. If I noticed it then why wouldn’t they have noticed it. It got to the point where even the boyfriend was being involved, he was saying the same thing she was saying and insisting on a free meal, almost made me laugh out loud how ridiculous they looked, I don’t know what made them think they would get the honor of being given a free meal with how they acted, honestly my respects to all the employees that worked yesterday, and had to deal with this couple, but if I was working there and had to deal with those people I know very well I wouldn’t have kept my composure, I want to make it clear that the employees didn’t in any way, shape or form, say or do anything rude towards this couple, they were trying to be so helpful, so don’t give any of them a hard time because of these clowns, it’s amazing how the guy kept his composure and didn’t just lash out at them, honestly I would’ve, they were just doing they’re job and if this is the owner reading this, good job on training your employees on dealing with terrible customers like them. I wanted to leave this anonymous review under this account to protect my own privacy so that couple doesn’t come after me too and leaves a terrible review on LinkedIn or something. And I’m giving it 5 stars because my experience was great right before that couple showed up and ruined...

Let me start by addressing the elephant in the room: yes, the prices at Egg Tuck might make your college student wallet wince. But here's the truth - after taking that first bite, you'll understand exactly why people line up and shell out for these sandwiches.
The Spicy Royale falls just short of magnificent. And I don’t know what the death rate from cardiovascular disease in Korea is but if this Korean beef patty is what they have for breakfast than it must be quite high.
The perfectly cooked egg with that runny yolk creates a decadent sauce that elevates the entire experience. If egg wanted to be cocaine, this would be its answer. The heat level is just right - just like you want on a first date. Enough to wake up your taste buds without overwhelming the common senses.
I've worked my way through several items on their menu, and I've yet to be disappointed. Each sandwich is crafted with attention to detail that makes me pretty sure they have an Instagram influencer slave chained to the back of the kitchen, grinding these out.
Yes, the ordering system is a bit impersonal - tapping your selection on a greasy screen that has also been fingered by every hungover frat boy within a 10 mile radius. And then ya kinda wait around with blind faith that culinary magic is happening behind the scenes. But when that sandwich appears, all is forgiven (like a hot girl’s body count).
For fellow students or anyone watching their budget, think of Egg Tuck as an occasional treat rather than an everyday habit unless you’re open to selling feed pics on onlyfans. When you need to reward yourself after finals or impress a previous nights encounter with "the best egg sandwich in LA," this is your spot. Your taste buds will thank you, even if your wallet momentarily...
