I had such high expectations with this store. I grew up in a deli owning family and definitely appreciate the craft of a good sub. So, to begin with, I was assured for 2 weeks in advance, numerous times that this store could do a corporate order via invoice sent to our main office for our college union event and that they have done this very thing for other companies in the past. As it is a union event, I explained that I do not have access to a credit card, and that the store would need to send the invoice to our main office and in turn the main office would make the payment. Assurances were made over that period. I spoke with Piere, who claimed to be the manager, and Steve the general manager. I called the night before the order was to be delivered and was once again told, invoice then payment was OK, and my $400 order would be delivered by 11am the next morning. Next morning comes around and something told me to call and check on the status of my order. Unfortunately, the store opens 1 hour before my delivery was scheduled. I called at 10:02am. Steve picked up the phone and informed me, he spoke to the owner and "since we make our food fresh, we want payment up front and the owner doesn't know anything about this invoice or purchase order kind of payment. How do we know you will pay. Money needs to be paid up front" This hostage situation of an event less than an hour away was not cool and the scramble began, as the event was approaching and 50 people were going to be pissed if they didn't get their food. I came out of pocket, with the possibility of no reimbursement, to make sure the event went on without a hitch. I provide a personal debit card, even made sure the driver was tipped heavily to make sure the food would be delivered by 11:00 am. Now for the delivery issue. Even after a hefty tip, the food wasn't delivered until 12pm. The driver seemed chipper and happy but was still an hour late even though the delivery location is less than 3.5 miles. Now for the food itself. The sandwiches are barely 4 inches long, cookies hard and brownies dry. Very very overrated for a "FRESH" product that had to be paid for in advance. Also, an assortment of different sandwiches were ordered but the delivered product was all the same things. I'm sorry, I wish I could say more but what we received was not worth the expense, headache or hassle. What's sad, this owner Edward, owns the North Hollywood, Van Nuys, Universal city, and Simi Valley stores, and I truly hope he doesn't run all these sites the same. Ed, you need to do better and have left such a foul taste in the mouths of many educational union members, along with the loss of a future relationship of several thousand members of a local, I assure you, we will be spreading the word to our California membership and our national membership of our horrible customer service. Do better Edit Addition (June 20 2024) Today the owner, Mr. Edward Bedigian, sent me an email upset with my review, and expressed he would be reaching out to my employer about my review. these bully and intimidation tactics should be noted son thos review. I continue toadvise somewhere else especially after hearing feom the owner as i have. Rather than teying to fix the issue of crappy service, he compounds it with these antic practices of patheticness. Do better or find a profession that appreciates cowardness.

Haven't been to a Firehouse Subs in a decade, and on top of that, it was in Virginia Beach, VA. I am in love with these melt-in-your-mouth sandwiches. We ended up ordering the Steak and Cheese and the Smoked Turkey subs. Ah, man. Just like I remembered it. Crazy thing is, I'm sensitive to gluten and the bread that they use, didn't make my tummy hurt. I didn't understand that. Generally, I can only eat sourdough bread and was able to eat their sub with no digestive issues. Loving it. Also, we weren't able to experience the dine-in freshness, we had to order take away and the experience was still fantastic! We will be back!

I've come here on other occasions and typically zero issues so I'm basing my review on overall. Came in the other day and 1 girl was totally friendly and awesome. The other seemed to be having a bad day and not friendly at all. The food was still great as usual and I love the store atmosphere. Definitely love coming here. Hopefully just one of those days for that employee.

Its another great company that gives you something on your birthday for absolutely zero dollars. No hidden feese or tax pops up when you give the cashier the coupon. My first time at any Firehouse subs period and AWESOME. I never enjoyed Subway, thought Quiznos and Togo's were avg on their best days and dont get me started with Jimmy John's BUT now I'm reborn. Reborn with my faith, a strong renewed faith, (AMEN HALLELUJAH/sshhhhhhhhh, don't you chime in! THIS IS MY REVIEW, ER, I MEAN MY FAITH, ONLY MINE), faith in a sandwich that l wanna eat because it tastes good. Not only because it's good FOR ME to eat the veggies but it had taste that went BAM, POP HERE I AM, WHAT'S UP MOUTH? HUH? SAY SOMETHING NOW! CALL ME SUBWAY AGAIN! THOUGHT SO, CAN'T EVEN SPEAK?! WHY?? BECAUSE YOUR MOUTH IS FULL OF NOT SUBWAY!) To be fair I want to go on record and I will never ever ever say Subway has BAD taste, they just have NOOOO taste! Ohhh Man that's gotta hurt!! I fully endorse Firehouse subs!! This just in...Good news, a store that is only a few blocks away from my flat (downtown LA) instead of a gazillion miles (much love NoHo) but I am breaking up with you and I am going to see other Firehouses! C-ya, Outty! Recommended, Commended and Intended by ME of course. Go taste 4 yo'self. And you are welcome in advance because you are going to thank...

This place lets me down almost every time. They take forever to make a sandwich and are always late for the pickup time when I order through their app. They also fail to follow instructions. Today, I selected “no pickle” in the app and even made a special note requesting no pickles again. They put 3 pickles in with my sandwich. This kind of thing happens over and over again. My friend and I recently ordered our sandwiches to go from here, and we waited at least 20 minutes to get them, which seems like a really long time to make a sandwich. When we finally got them, they had made my friend’s order wrong, so she asked for it to be remade. We waited 25 minutes for that to come out, and it didn’t. She went up to the counter to ask about it, and they had forgot to even start it. 5-10 minutes later, we get the sandwich again. It’s still not made right, but we’d wasted an hour there for a to go order, so we took it and left. The food quality is good but this staff consistently underperforms and it’s really...
