We ate there Saturday night after we couldn't get a table at Factory Kitchen and the line at Prince Street was too long. It was 6:30 pm so still fairly early. Our entrees took an hour to come out despite the restaurant being only a quarter full. I would say that if the price of the food was half of what it was here, I would've given the place two and a half stars. Caesar salad was very bland and felt like it was missing an ingredient. The $41 burger was a chain restaurant burger: same brown bun you see at every one and an extremely thin standard ground beef patty. Nothing like a Morons or Palm or even shake shack (though much more expensive). Grilled chicken was mostly the potato it came served on and had cold cherry tomatoes as the "grilled veggies". My $41 branzino tasted good... But I ate it in 4 bites and it came with only an asparagus and a vegetable garnish. My daughter's wagyu pasta with truffle she said was fine, though it was small and had no truffles or any sides. My wife's cocktail was good. Tap water was good. Server was nice and laughed nervously when we said the food wasn't good. They took $10 off the burger after we asked why we were paying full price for the truffle items (but the pasta had "truffle butter" so was full price). I guess I just haven't felt this ripped off by a restaurant in a long time and am shocked by the...
Read moreWe ended up going here for a nice birthday dinner instead of another Italian restaurant nearby. There was no wait, the staff were friendly, there was a parking lot right next to it, and the food looked delicious. We all agreed the food was top notch, everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! We started with the cheese plate and Burrata since they brought us a delicious olive bread with some tamponade. Then for the main course we tried pastas as they are made fresh daily in house and you can clearly tell. Absolutely would order again. We sampled a few cocktails as well and agreed they were some of the best we’ve ever had. They all had a perfect balance of sweet and acidic with a strong note of spirit that wasn’t overpowering. The vegetarian in our group struggled to find a main dish to eat as they were out of the gnocchi. Luckily they accommodated by making another pasta dish without chicken broth. Overall the food was great but we felt slightly out of place by the staff. They were very friendly and pleasant but did try to recommend some of the highest priced items. Once it became clear we were not interested in running up the tab the service became a little cold. They also don’t do anything for special occasions. Other than that great venue and delicious food. Read moreI had the pleasure of dining at this amazing place recently and I have to say, it exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the friendly staff who made me feel right at home.
The menu was extensive and offered a wide variety of delicious dishes, but the standout for me was definitely the octopus and pasta. The octopus was perfectly cooked and had just the right amount of seasoning to give it a wonderful flavor. The pasta was cooked al dente and had a delicious sauce that was bursting with flavor.
In addition to the amazing food, the atmosphere was also fantastic. The restaurant had a cozy and romantic feel to it, with dim lighting and beautiful decor that added to the overall dining experience.
The service was exceptional as well, with attentive staff who were always ready to assist with anything we needed. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and provided great recommendations for both food and drinks.
Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious Italian food in a cozy and romantic setting. The octopus and pasta alone are worth a visit, but you won't be disappointed with anything else on the menu either. This is definitely a five-star...
