If I could give this place a higher review than 5 stars, I would! The food quality here is amazing. This is hands down the best Puerto Rican food in Southern California! The empanadas were all delicious! The crispness when you bite in and the inside of any of these are stuffed with deliciousness. All of them were good in their own way! Both sandwiches we tried were great but the one that stood out the most was the one with tostones. They also make the best abichuelas! And don’t forget to order the chicken chicharron, you will not be disappointed. The chicken is seasoned well, crunchy on the outside and meaty and juicy on the inside. Omg! What can be said about house of empanadas? That it was worth me.driving 2 hours just to try these amazing delicious empanadas. The CUBAN is to die for. Such amazing flavors in your mouth and you can tell they are made with nothing but love and made fresh once you place your order. IF ITS YOUR 1ST time trying PUERTORICAN FOOD YOU WONT REGRET IT. DELICIOUS!!! My husband and I visited this restaurant on 07/29/23 and were not disappointed. The service was A + and the food is amazing. We had the octopus, shrimp creole and picadillo empanadas and were blown away. Not salty or greasy and the dough was flavorful and flaky. Then tried the guava and cheese empanada and was just so happy I bought 3. The melted guava mixed with the cheese made it taste buttery and sweet.
