Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Los Angeles

6/4/24 I had an incredibly disrespectful experience at the Jersey Mikes San Pedro location. Upon leaving, I felt compelled to share my feedback about one of the workers on duty tonight. The way the kids handled the food showed they have no lack of experience or knowledge in food handling. One particular worker was notably slow in his work, lazily cutting the sandwiches in a manner that appeared both sloppy and unsanitary, even tossing the knife carelessly. His lazy approach was evident as he cut and wrapped the sandwiches, showing little regard for efficiency or quality. Moreover, as he placed the items in the bag, he nearly tore it due to his careless actions, resulting in a very disorganized and unprofessional presentation. Also, seeing how dirty the cutting board was not a good environment for something I’m about to eat to be on. They couldn’t even figure out how to give me a receipt which wasn’t a big deal but super unprofessional. The whole experience left me feeling incredibly dissatisfied, to the point where I have made the decision never to return to this Jersey Mikes location again. They also forgot to put mayo and mustard on all sandwiches and had to switch breads since they made a mistake putting all toppings from one bread to another. Overall a negative experience. 5/5/24 These people that work here do not seem to care to get your order right. My order was messed up multiple times. Ive tried giving this place a chance in the past but its been so many times that i just know they dont care. The black worker with the dreds that claims to be the manager got my order wrong and the 3 other people i was with orders wrong too. Horrible experience horrible customer service . Horrible food. Dont come here. Save your time and your money. They didnt even believe that they messed up on our orders and we had to literally show them what they messed up on with the food. Literally digging through the sandwhich so they can see. . At that point it was just so unenjoyable . We went with the hopes of eating our sandwhich and instead just spent the whole time having to prove that they messed up. No it was not during rush hour. Terrible, no white bread ready by the time I came to pick up my online order. Claimed they called. I did not get a call. I waited 12 minutes more for the bread (a basic staple of a sandwich shop) which is fine and excusable to an extent. However, when the sandwiches we're done...I had to approach the counter and ask if those were mine cause they were sitting and they were helping new customers now. The guy said yes, they were mine... and he would be right with me. However, he decided to undo his cash register (assuming he wants to go home) and took off. I of course got agitated and just grabbed the sandwiches and told the girl I already paid for those and should be done. She said he went to go get coupons. There were no coupons. Got a free combo meal out of it in the end but it wasn't even worth it cause they don't even have name brand soda. Just some hokey pokey root beer from...
