UPDATE: their manager, Brittany, made some performative comment responding to my review but after I emailed her I never heard back. I've also reached out to customer service 3x since then and to no avail. Their customer service is trash.
If you want your order to be made incorrectly, then I encourage you to order at this location.
I ordered 2 giant subs with specific modifications on it. The Philly cheese steak was to have light cheese and cut in half and the other big kahuna was supposed to be cut in half with jalapeños and peppers on the side. When I arrived onsite, the employee put my two orders into one bag even though I was charged for 2 bags. It seems petty to complain about a $0.10 charge, but when you pay for something you don't receive, it feels wrong. There is something inherently wrong about forcing customers to pay for a bag on every order when we should have the choice to opt out and bring our own bag, as it has been for other restaurants. They literally don't give you the option to NOT receive a bag... insane.
I left the store and trusted that the order was made properly, something I almost never do because I don't trust online orders, and came home and was immediately frustrated. The Philly cheesesteak was cut into fourths and did not have light cheese whatsoever. The big kahuna was also cut into fourths and not only were the jalapenos and peppers NOT on the side, but my sub was completely missing mushrooms. Exactly what difference is there between the Philly cheesesteak and the big kahuna when it's supposed to have more cheese and added mushrooms? Unbelievable.
When I order via online pickup, I do so for convenience. There is nothing convenient about coming home to find that your sub was made incorrectly in so many ways that you have to spend more time picking out every single jalapeno and pepper to the side than just outright watching them make the sub in front of you at the store. There is also a change in the overall flavor and experience of the sub as the cheese has melted onto the peppers/jalapeños and the taste and spice of the peppers have also seeped into the sub.
This is all to say that not only was this experience more than disappointing, but the overall taste and flavor of the subs were as well. It truly behooves me that such negligence on the employee's part is acceptable as I am fully expected to do my job correctly and it doesn't take any effort to read the ticket. At all.
I reached out to customer service already though their automated system says the franchise owner will be the one to respond. I fully expect the manager from this store to reach out to me directly to ensure that this issue has been resolved. I'd be happy to reconsider returning if they remain committed to providing a better experience...
Read moreThis is my local location and last night was the best experience. I was greeted and assisted by Juan. Let me just say, if he isn’t a manager make him one. If he is a manager promote him higher.
The level of professionalism he possesses is top tier. I would hire him in a second.
The bread wasn’t ready so he let me know it would be a wait. I agreed and waited but he asked my order which took me aback because I typically need to say it as they make it. I told him. It was 2 sandwiches with specific mods and he listened and went on to make other sandwiches. As I waited 3-4 parties came in and he took their orders as well. Some also wanting the same bread I did so he took their orders and they waited as well.
I watched as he made all of these orders only asking what people wanted one time.
I waited about 10-12 minutes. He fulfilled all orders and as he did mine I said nothing and he made everything to perfection and remembered everything.
I have worked in many establishments, hired many people and there is a level of a worker that is hard to come by. Some people just have the ability to work the whole place and not break a sweat.
This young man is impressive and I can see him going very far in anything he plans to do.
Oh and the food was amazing per usual.
Hats off to you Juan!

Read moreI've been to many Jersey Mike's locations and this is by far the worst one in the valley. I am not sure if they are under new management or not but whoever is in charge should really make some changes.
As soon as I entered, I was not greeted and it took someone a while to even acknowledge my existence. Once they did recognize me and I placed my order, I could over hear the employees complaining about a variety of different things. I totally understand if employees want to vent to each other, but doing it in front of the customers, is not an ideal situation.
I order two hot sandwiches and they just handed it to me closed so I couldn't even witness what they were doing. I had wanted to add pickles to mine but since it was already closed, they could not do anything about it.
There were also a lot of people inside the location and it's small inside which made it difficult to social distance. I was so happy to leave. If I decide to get Jersey Mike's again, it will definitely be at a...
