It was just so-so. I appreciate the diversity of the menu. It includes vegetarian options and even vegan, but honestly, my friends who are vegan don't want to sit in a restaurant and smell meat cooking. The catch for the Burger Lounge is that their beef is grass fed. Unfortunately, even though I requested my burger medium it was cooked well done. It is pointless to go the extra mile for superior beef and then overcook it. The patties are thin and because they are overcooked, almost flavorless. The onion rings have what I think is herb seasoning that is heavy on dill in the breading. If you don't like dill you will not like the onion rings. Each order is cooked fresh which is a plus. If you are in a hurry, they do have an order and pay ahead option. You pick it up at the sidewalk window so you don't even have to go inside. Parking is free and fairly easy to find. Slightly off-put by the tip demand at the register. This is a burger joint, not a fine dining experience. The only thing the staff did was take an order and bring it to the table. Drink refills are self-service. No one checked to see if we needed anything else or brought anything to us but the food. I don't understand the pin pad default to ask for 10%, 15%, or 20% tip for punching my order into the POS system and delivering my food to my table. It becomes a surcharge at that point. I would probably not return. The food was good, but for 2 burgers, an order of onion rings, and 2 fountain drinks it was $40. I could have gone to WoodRanch around the corner and gotten better for just a little more with...
Read moreWhen your teenager says, “I need a really good burger,” you listen. His Google search and my ChatGPT query both pointed us to Burger Lounge—and let’s just say, the algorithm did not disappoint.
Parking was easy (hallelujah), and while the restaurant wasn’t super busy—which always makes me slightly nervous—we took a chance. And I’m glad we did.
We both went for the California Lounge Burger. Because… bacon and avocado. It was big, juicy, unapologetically messy, and totally hit the spot. We split a small Half & Half (fries and onion rings), and I have to say—the onion rings were perfect. Crispy, golden, no weird soggy moments.
The only downside? The dining area was a little messy. Quite a few tables needed to be wiped down, and it seemed like the crew was short-staffed. Not a dealbreaker, but it did take away from the otherwise great experience.
Overall? A delicious stop for burger cravings with good vibes and even better onion rings. We’ll be back—with extra...
Read moreFirst time trying this place, and it was underwhelming. I tried the beef Lounge Burger, with cheddar and some fries with sweet korean bbq sauce on the side.
The burger was nothing special. It reminded me of a diner style burger, but not as flavorful. My burger patty tasted under seasoned as if it could use a bit more salt or pepper. The bun was okay, but felt like it was just there to hold the burger together. The lettuce, onion, and tomato felt like they were not present on the burger as I could not really taste those items. Nothing special about the sauce, pickles. Overall, the burger was tremendously generic. I wouldn't come back for the burger. It wasn't bad, it was... fine. The Stand. Red Robin. Those places have tastier burgers than Burger Lounge.
On the other hand, their fries are solid. Nice thickness and crisp to them. Those fries tasted great with the korean bbq sauce dip. I would come back to try to the chicken sandwich, chicken bites and get those...
