Kebab Lab — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I stopped by Northridge mall this morning and decided I wanted some kebab after seeing this place yesterday when I was also at the mall. When I walked in, the employee working greeted me and I told him I wanted to look at their menu to decide what I wanted. I asked him if I should get the Lule Kebab or Beef Kebab and he told me to go with the Lule Kebab because it's more tender and has more flavor. I went the Lule Kebab plate and he told me it would take about 10 minutes to come out. I also asked him how long this place been open and he told me about 2 months now. They have some seating inside but there not alot of tables so you can take your food to go eat at the food court as well. The place is still new so the inside looks nicely decorated and they also have TV here as well. My food took about 10 minutes to come out and I took it home to eat. My suggestion is to eat your food there because your food will be less tasteful when you get home if you don't live that close. The Lule Kebab was good and I like the shirazi salad, I think it would've been better if I ate it when it came out hot. I didn't really like the rice, I prefer the basmati white rice pilaf and I would say that would make a big difference for me while eating the food. I told the worker that I plan on coming back to try their burger at a later date and he also told me their salmon is good as well.

My score: Food: 4 star, I give a 4 star because I wasn't a fan of the rice and would've prefer the basmati white rice pilaf. The shirazi salad and pita bread was good.

Service: 5 star, the service I received here when I first walked in was amazing. The worker chatted with me and also give me recommendations as well.

Atmosphere: 5 star, the place is cleaned inside and they have TV if you want something to watch while eating. If you don't feel comfortable sitting inside then you can go eat at...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic kebab restaurant located in the Northridge mall. I have to say, I was blown away by the quality of the food and the overall experience.

First of all, I was delighted to learn that they use organic ingredients and Halal meat. This was a huge plus for me as I always appreciate restaurants that are mindful of the quality and sourcing of their ingredients. And let me tell you, it showed in the taste of the food! I tried the chicken and Lula kebab and was thoroughly impressed by the juicy and flavorful meat. My wife tried the salmon kabob and loved it too, saying it was perfectly cooked and seasoned.

But the sides were just as impressive as the main dishes. The rice was fluffy and fragrant, the fries were crispy and perfectly seasoned, and the tabouleh salad was fresh and vibrant. And the sauces...oh, the sauces! They were so flavorful and really took the kebabs to the next level.

What really stood out to me though was the exceptional service. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, and the food came out quickly and hot. I also appreciated how clean and well-maintained the restaurant was.

Overall, I would highly recommend this kebab restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying meal made with high-quality, organic ingredients and Halal meat in a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. This place is really REALLY good. To give you folks context, it’s a small restaurant off the food court in a Mall. So, you kind of go in thinking you’re going to get “mall food”.

But, no. Not at Kabab Lab (silly name, AMAZING food). Their combo plates come with a lot of rice, salad (with a great dressing), pita, humas, and excellent chicken and beef. Well cooked, juicy, well seasoned… it’s one of those places that “you have a taste for…” once you’ve tried it.

I cannot recommend it highly enough, but i can tell you that I keep coming back. I’d rather endure The Mall and have an excellent, delicious, well prepared meal instead of hitting some of my local places that aren’t nearly as good.

The restaurant is always very clean and well lit. It can get crowded but it’s the Mall so there is a lot of fast turn over. Plus there are another 100 tables in the common area if you aren’t in the restaurant itself.

The staff is always friendly and the cooks clearly know what they are doing.
