Le Balcon — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Unfortunately never got to actually taste the food. I have placed an order for a cake for an upcoming birthday. I couldn’t come in person to put an order so the only option that was shown online is to order through grabhub. Once the order been placed, I had to pick it up at 6:15pm. On the right day I am coming in, just to see that the store is closed (on maps it shows they are open till 7pm) in reality he door is locked nobody is there - the time is 6:15pm.

On the other day I come in, to get back the order a have placed and payed for already. The service is horrible, the attitude I received really did make me wanna leave asap. I show them the order, and an immediate reply “we don’t work with grabhub for a year now”. No resolution offered, not a refund, not an offer to make a new reservation directly through them, nothing. On my question, if they don’t work with that company anymore why it’s still an option to place orders through them? They haven’t replied anything and just angrily reaped “we don’t work with...

We used 'Le Balcon Bakery' for our July wedding and worked with Hayk (their manager).

This is a Russian bakery and they are masters at what they do. In fact, most of the cakes/desserts sold in Russian markets all over LA come from Le Balcon Bakery.

We had a non-traditional wedding cake. Instead of doing 3 cake tiers, we did 3 different cakes that were served separately (each with its own flavor). Although, this bakery can do anything you desire - really.

Pros of Le Balcon: Easy/simple cake tasting Easy communication with Hayk (manager) Amazing price (in comparison to other Russian/American bakeries) Delivered cake on time & as described in original agreement.

Cons: Surprisingly - none. For non-Russian speakers, just connect with their manager, Hayk. They really do everything possible to make your day special.
