Disappointed in this business and its valet service. We went last night to try their fish sandwich and burgers. We parked our car in a parking spot labeled “for Love Hour only” and after exiting our vehicle a valet attendant approached us and said we had to pay $6 to park in a spot designated for Love Hour. He said the parking was for Love Hour employees only.
The valet attendant stated that we are not allowed to park and our vehicle would be towed.
I read the parking lot and valet signs posted and determined that we would not pay the valet attendant $6 to dine at Love Hour based on the signs posted. The valet attendant proceeded to argue with me. I told him I was finished talking to him and for him to leave me alone so I can address the restaurant and get much needed clarification on the parking situation.
I spot with an employee at the door and he told me that valet has their own discretion and will try to charge us especially if there is an event going on.
The kitchen was closed so we could not order food; however, we didn’t like the situation and interaction with the valet attendant.
I refuse to pay a $6 parking fee to purchase a $8 sandwich especially if the parking is labeled for the restaurant.
Unfortunately, the business owner may lose customers because of the valet’s actions. There is no reason for me to pay $6 to self-park my car in designated parking space for the restaurant. It makes absolutely no sense that a restaurant would have such convenient parking spaces for employees and takeaway parking from revenue-generating customers.
Nevertheless, it is sad. Individuals , businesses and “guerrilla” valet companies taking advantage of customers who want to support local business owners. FYI, valet parking at Nobu Malibu is $10 and customers pay over $100 per...
Read moreCame here on a Friday evening close to closing time. Everything was winding down, so it wasn't packed. You have to valet park on the next parking lot, and it's $4.
I ordered a Double Smashburger with garlic parmesan fries along with a can of Mumford's Universal Magnetic hazy IPA. The bread was very soft (Martin's Potato Roll) and the meat was very crispy on the outside, while tender on the inside. All the ingredients mesh very well together. Their Love Hour sauce is very good. A thousand island-like recipe with hints of smoke, pepper and spices. The flavoring of the garlic parmesan was great too.
Overall, I highly recommend coming here. You can easily eat 3 of these burgers. Great flavoring, great people running the place with great service! Plus, you get the mad...

I honestly didn't really understand what was the appeal of Love Hour, until I had one of their burgers. The Love Sauce makes their smash burger into a nice tangy smash burger. The burger itself was perfectly cooked and stayed pretty juicy. I enjoyed the onions, and overall it was really good.
The only real gripe I have is that the price was definitely on the higher side for what I was getting in LA. The french fries I also ordered didn't have more than 2 specs of the seasoning I requested as well which was a bummer.
Outside of that, parking in this area is also god awful so be aware of that when you head to Love Hour.
To cap it off, I recommend their burgers especially if you're looking for a good smash...
