I made my order through Uber Eats. It said it would take 20-30 min for food to be ready. I always show up a little later to pick up my order so I don’t have to wait, just grab and go. I showed up in 35 min. Food was not ready. They hadn’t even started my order. The staff informed me they have been having trouble with Uber Eats. Granted, the staff was very nice and apologetic. They told me to come back in ten minutes. I returned in 15 and it still was not ready. I waited a few more minutes inside.
The staff was not mean but I was a little disappointed they didn’t offer any way to help rectify their mistake. Like a coupon for next time, an extra ranch, or even a water while I wait. I waited almost an hour for something that was supposed to take 20-30 min. That being said... let’s talk about the food.
Pizza : good... would recommend the pizza. This is not “fancy” like LBK (for those in the studio city area) but more somewhere in the middle between “fancy” and Pizza Hut. Thickness of Crust was very similar to Pizza Hut hand tossed to be honest.
Wings : not my jam. It could have just been because the wings were sitting there but they were pretty slimy and breading was soft and greasy. Some prefer this style, not me.
Salad: NO! I ordered a chicken salad. The ingredients felt very cheap. Almost like a green salad you would get in the middle school cafeteria or at a fast food Chinese place, an afterthought. The chicken also had very little to no flavor. An extremely over priced salad.
Was really hoping this Pizza place could have been my new spot. Unfortunately, after this experience, I’m still looking. From my visit, I would only recommend the pizza, if you are desperate. There are a lot of other places, especially in Studio City / North Hollywood area where you can get better quality...
Read moreFirst and last time for me - I Was told SO many good things about this and read SO many great reviews... Initially, I was drawn to the cool decor, but soon encountered an uncomfortable silence and awkward atmosphere, the employee wasn't welcoming or friendly, the restaurant was deserted, and no visible menu. Instead, we had to scan a sheet of paper sitting by the cash register with our phones to see the menu, but it lacked pricing and other information. Resorting to Google, I searched for the restaurant, navigated to some website with Lucifer's menu and pricing, only to discover the prices were likely inaccurate. When I ordered an XL pizza - Prosciutto Pollo, 2 bottled diet cokes, and 1 order of Cajun fries, I was charged a little over $50... I've never encountered such exorbitant pricing for mediocre service that felt cold and unwelcoming. Maybe we visited at a bad time? I Had to leave due to an emergency so I asked them to pack my order to go and didn't try the food there. I tried the fries on my way home and they were straight up BURNT and were absolutely disgusting, I didn't taste any "Cajun" at all just char. I was so mad I didn't even bother trying the pizza. $50...
Read moreI give pizza place 4 stars, because it is, to me, quite tasty MOST of the time..SOMETIMES though...its not quite as good. I think everyone has slightly different preferences as far as how they like their pizza and I am no different. So I think you have to have a taste of the za to be able judge for yourself if its the type that pleases you most. That being said, consistency is key. I've had Lucifers regular, gluten free, and cauliflower crust (I'm a flexitarian, particularly when it comes to pizza). I ordered the cauliflower once and really liked it and so ordered it again, and felt a little let down the second time around- same goes for the gluten free (perhaps not the second, but maybe the third or so time I got it). The regular crust is (again, to me) somewhat constantly underwhelming. In addition to being just ok SOMETIMES, the special crust pizzas are kind of on the pricey side. I feel like all restaurants need to start offering alternative options without an up charge..obviously I'm not a...
