Indulging in the culinary delights of Lal Mirch was an experience that transcended mere sustenance. Our selection comprised of Garlic Naan, Parmesan Naan, Paneer Makhni, Chicken Tikka, and Jeera Rice, all culminating in a finale of Mango Lassi and Gulab Jamun. Throughout our dining journey, Abu, the gracious manager, tended to our every need, ensuring our experience was nothing short of extraordinary.
The naans, a testament to the artistry of Lal Mirch's kitchen, were a delight to the senses. As we eagerly tore into their pillowy centers, a symphony of flavors danced upon our palates. The Garlic Naan boasted a subtle yet distinct aroma, infused within its tender layers, while the Parmesan Naan offered a sophisticated twist with its subtle hints of nuttiness. Both naans harmoniously complemented the star of the show, the velvety Paneer Makhni. Each bite revealed a luscious medley of creamy paneer and rich tomato gravy, transporting us to a realm of pure gastronomic bliss.
The Chicken Tikka, undoubtedly a crowd favorite, held its well-deserved reputation with unwavering pride. With a simple squeeze of lemon, the air was infused with an enchanting fragrance that only heightened the anticipation of its succulent flavors. Tender and perfectly charred, each morsel captivated our taste buds, leaving us yearning for more.
To accompany these delectable dishes, the Jeera Rice provided a fragrant canvas, subtly infused with the earthy essence of cumin. Its fluffy grains effortlessly absorbed the savory delights, harmonizing the entire meal into a symphony of flavors.
As our meal drew to a close, the Mango Lassi graced our palates with its cool, velvety embrace. Bursting with the vibrant essence of tropical mangoes, it provided a refreshing respite, offering a delightful balance to the robustness of the previous courses. And what better way to conclude this culinary escapade than with the tender and syrupy indulgence of Gulab Jamun? Each bite dissolved upon the tongue, releasing a delicate sweetness that left us satiated and content.
At Lal Mirch, every aspect of our dining experience was meticulously curated to ignite our senses and transport us to a realm of pure culinary euphoria. It is a testament to the artistry of the chefs, the warmth of the staff, and the exquisite flavors that graced...
Read morePlease even if you are visiting studio and you are looking any Indian restaurant around it do not go to this one. There are more Indian restaurants that you can go to. Unless you want to try yourself their food because its close to universal. This place because its convenient for guests who are visiting the universal studio but this place give the opposite and don't want new customer to go back because of its tasteless and awful looking food. Please do not go this place if you know how Indian food should be tasted. I went for food and left regretted going there. They are Indian but the food is absolutely horrible . First I found hair in tandoori roti that I ordered as I ordered some naan and chana masala with mango Lassi to go. Even they refund me or made me new tandoori roti . I hadn't felt to eat their food and wasted my money. I brought all food at hone and tossed it out in the 🗑 . The food was looking absolutely awful. The naan came out too oily and colored in black. The chana masala looked so orange and disgusting. It was looking so deep orange color like they poured too much food color in it. Absolutely opposite what other restaurants would serves their Chana dal(masala) or Make. Chana masala supposed to be yellow color but this is how they gave me in orange or maybe too chilly color added to chana dal. Even Mango lassi tasted like it was made couple days ago. It was not fresh. Tasted stale. Without touching naan 🫓 I tossed out in trash 🗑 bins and orange colored chana dal while it supposed to be yellow color. If you go previous reviews you will know the hair comes in every food order people buy So this is not something new. Because of hair in my tandoori roti 🫓 and chana masla (orange) I wasted my money and tossed out the food...
Read moreThe last time I came here was over a year ago. Back then, the food was great, but the service was inconsistent and poor and the food took over half an hour to come out. Decided to give it another shot yesterday, and wow, what a turnaround! I don't know if they are under new management or what, but it's a whole different experience. First, the service is incredible; the staff was very attentive and warm. Second, the food came out in a reasonably quick manner, plus we got our appetizer early so we weren't starving and hangry. And lastly, our waiter Abu really took care of us, and treated my son and I to a memorable meal.
The food is still awesome. You can taste the homemade love! We got the mango lassi, vegetable samosas, chicken tikka masala, chicken korma, saag paneer, Tandoori chicken, and rice pudding dessert. The food was 5/5, but our absolute favorites were the chicken tikka masala and the Tandoori chicken. The samosas were perfectly crispy and not soggy in the middle. There was a good depth of flavor in the tikka masala, and it wasn't too sweet. The chicken korma is the only one I wouldn't necessarily get again (just because the menu is so large and varied that there are so many other things I want to try first). (The tikka Masala I would probably order every single visit). The tandoori chicken was well flavored and juicy, with generous portions, and i loved the Char taste on it. And the mango lassi was so yummy, it tasted like real mango, not artificial.
The food all came out at once (great presentation) at a perfect temperature, with generous portions. The basmati rice and the garlic naan were also excellent. And again, Abu made our dining experience great. We are definitely...
