Movita Juice Bar — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I stopped by this Movita Juice Bar last night to get my parents an acai bowl. I was next door getting my wife her Milk Tea drink and saw that this place had acai bowl. The parking here should be easy because it's in a decent size plaza with many parking spots. When I walked inside, they had no other guest so I was their only customer. I looked at their menu and options for the acai bowl. A lady walked from the back and was ready to take my order. She asked me which one from the their menu did I wanted and I told you I wanted to custom built my bowl. They only had 2 options for the base so I went with the Dragonfruit. Then for the toppings I went with just fruits so strawberry, banana and pineapple. She asked if I wanted granola on the top but I asked for it on the side so she put it in a cup for me. She was very helpful and basically made my acai bowl in like 5 minutes. I took it home and my parents started eating it. They said the pineapple was very sweet but they enjoyed it. The place is appealing to the eye, bright and clean. Digital menu and some brochures about what they offer. Cool. $10 for a protein shake (original)? Yikes. I got it because I was already there. It's definitely not something I'd purchase often, if I ever go back.

I was intrigued by the one day juice cleanse, so I looked it up and thought $65 is an investment on my health. However, I always shop around for the best deals. There's a company called Pressed that also has a one day cleanse for HALF the price and their bottles look bigger.

I'm sure the reasoning behind the pricing is because of the ingredients. They probably say their high quality, clean, "good stuff." I appreciate that, but $10? For those that can afford, right on. But for people like me, it's not happening. Everything else is so expensive these days, why not make this more affordable? Their profit margins are probably amazing. I bet more people would go if it was more affordable....

5 stars for Dylan who works here. He is great and top notch customer service. I can’t say the same for Jasmine. Picked up a mobile order which was sitting out for 5 minutes. How do I know ? Because that’s how long I stood there before having to get someone’s attention. Again, if you get Dylan you are in luck if you get any of the other employees here expect to wait and don’t expect any customer service. Specifically Jasmine, she has zero customer service. If you are management reading this watch your security surveillance on 10/28/23 at 11:40am-11:50am and see what type of employee you have working for you. Will not return until Jasmine is no longer...
