Ume Tea — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Just stopped by yesterday with my mom for our perfect mother daughter Galantine’s Bday Celebration! The staff and manager are so accommodating and walked us through the menu. The kiosk had description and pictures of all the drinks they offer. They gave us time to decide since it’s our first time. Once we were ready they took our order and explained how the surprise cups work. The drinks were so delicious! My mom got the taro boba slush and I got the Strawberry Green Tea with Salty foam on top. It was the perfect sweetness for the taro. The strawberry with salty foam top was the perfect sweet and tangy consistency. It’s whipped to perfection in creaminess. Once we finished our drinks the cups revealed the cutest little plush bunny key chain prizes. My nieces will flip out over the cuteness. They’re not old enough for boba but I know they’ll be excited for the prizes from these cups. I’ll have a few more years of enjoying these sweet treats so they can have the prizes until can get their own surprise drink...

I stopped by this Tea spot to get a drink for my wife. I was already in the plaza this store is at to get some groceries and visiting other stores. I found parking easily here. I came at night time so they were not busy. When I walked inside, this place looks very nice inside. I looked at their menu to see if they had my wife drink. My wife wanted her Jasmine Milk Tea and they did have it on the menu. There a little kiosk you can order your drinks from or you can order with a worker. I put in my order with a worker and they were able to customize the sweetness on my wife drink along with putting light ice. After I paid, I forgot to tell them no boba and the worker didn't ask, so I just reminded him and he was able to accommodate for that. This place is one of the best in LA.Very delish! They have really great bobas and unique options. I really appreciate that. However, the fact that they only offer oatmeal as an alternative milk for lactose and tolerance people is disappointing. Offering the most toxic and unhealthy alternative milk, such as oat milk, is very discouraging from continuing to consume beverages from this place. I wish they had more alternatives or allow the workers to customize the drink n allow them to use coconut milk instead or almond milk. Very sad that great places like this don’t care about its costumers. Would not recommend this place if you care about not putting poison in your body. Will not shop here again until they care enough to have less toxic alternatives milks. You guys are in diverse...
