Pepper's Jamaican Belizean Cuisine — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Not the best experience. Ordered food via Doordash and the restaurant worker called to inform us they were out of fish (no biggie, it happens). When we get our food the orders are completely wrong. No extra side orders were included and the meals are quite incorrect. To the point it seems like we got someone else’s order on accident. Call them back, the person on the phone informs me that they tried to give us one of our side orders, but the Doordash person left before I could give it to them (which if this was true, why didn’t you call us or Doordash?). I told him the other food was wrong too, and was informed that they didn’t have all the food we ordered and some was refunded back to us (which was never communicated to us in any way before this point). As for the other food we didn’t get, they ran out. Which isn’t bad but we should have been informed after placing the order. So they just gave us whatever food seemed right when we couldn’t get what we ordered and hoped we wouldn’t notice. They refunded some of the cost, but overall still had to pay for the full meals. Huge Disappointment. Google this place online. Read the reviews. My husband and I said let's give it a try. As neither of us was cooking on Saturday. So he purchased the food and bought it home after travelling on the bus. I was excited to dip in, is awhile i haven't had some rice and peas. The chicken was burnt (you can see in the pic). How can you all sell this to customers? What is this?? Cut down on the salt. Why do you all need to use so much salt? What about some fresh seasoning to give the food flavour. No one wants high blood pressure.. 3.This is not worth the price. My husband got dumpling in the food. Yes we were able to share one box of food it because if he had bought 2 I would have been devastated. Waste of money. My toddler who loves rice and beans wasnt fond of it. Couldnt eat all of it period that salt no. 👎Had to dump. Peppers i do not know if you all had a bad day. Our first experience my last, but you all need to do better in serving your customers quality food. Huge disappointment. Hopefully you all see this, take it as constructive criticism where you all need to improve. I have tasted better...

OMG!!! I finally got the chance to try Pepper's Jamaican/Belizean restaurant 🇯🇲 🇧🇿 and I was NOT disappointed with the flavors of the food!! ⁶ Ok, so I got the veggie lunch plate and 2 veggie patties. The plate was a little on the skimpy side, as it came wit rice n peas, cabbage, 1 tiny nugget of festival bread and 2 small slivers of plantain! I bought a side of jerk sauce and poured it over mi rice & cabbage and it was soooooo gooooodT!!!!!😍😋😍😋😍😋😍 Next time, I'll order the dinner 😉

Now for the veggie/spinach patties... they were sooooo gooood!! The texture of the outter patty-bread was light, soft, buttery and flaky!! I NEVER had Jamaican patties like this before!! 😋😋😋 and the veggies inside were a lil spicy and very flavorful 👌🏾 Best Jamaican patties EVERRRRRR!!! 💯💯💯

Great customer service. The sista behind the counter was very nice, polite and tooo cute!! I forgot her name but she was sweet 🥰.

Now the restaurant inside was hot as hell, no lie. I sat outside to wait for my food. Perhaps in the wintertime, I'll eat inside.

Good food and good customer service... I will DEFINITELY be back at...
