First time there. I called before going to see if they had the food I wanted. Spoke with an English speaking person. When I got there, an employee was there and only spoke Spanish. I speak a little Spanish, but was not able to communicate with her. Her small child was running around and was going in and out of the kitchen. There was only one other 'patron' in the place, He didn't seem to be eating anything, just resting... Soon, the 'manager" showed up, and she was the person who took my order over the phone. She carefully packed up my food and took my cash. I went home to eat... I was very pleased with the food. I had ordered sopa de res, a beef soup. I also ordered whole beans, not really specifying a size. The beans were in the same size container as the soup prob. About 32 oz. Everything was way above my expectations. I have not ever had such good soup! The beans were almost perfect, just a little salty... I found out that this was a Salvadorean restaurant. I was so glad to see pupusas! I was in Heaven when as I ate them. Also had sopes. And Hubby had the plato de carne. Prices are mind bogglingly low considering how fresh, filling, satisfying and abso-frickin-lutley delicious it is. Our waitres was great and courteous and very friendly.
