Fantastic! This is seriously my favorite restaurant. Everything about it is above and beyond other, really great, Mediterranean restaurants I've tried. And better yet, I live in Pedro and its local, not in Long Beach or Torrance. We frequent this restaurant on a regular basis and have never had a bad meal there. First, the ambiance is great. I absolutely love the decor and it's small and cozy but not crowded-feeling. It's just nice. The service is impeccable. The only thing that trumps both the ambiance and the service is the FOOD. The salmon kebabs are my favorite. The falafel is the best I've ever had. And the tzatziki sauce is incredible. The pitas are lightly grilled which gives them an ever so slight smoky taste= wonderful. I havent tried the chicken or lamb, but the shish kebabs, made with filet mignon, are amazing. They are served with roasted vegetables, rice, and a Greek salad. I literally am sad to stop eating. Their food is so good. The Greek salad is a mix of cucumbers, olives, tomatoes, feta tossed in olive oil and herbs. It was delicious. I highly recommend it; you'll forget you're getting your veggies in. Their roasted veggies are also amazing. Oh I must also say the head chef and owner, Nima, is incredibly nice and so kind and welcoming. Eric, the manager, is amazing as well. Its clear they take great interest in how his guests are doing and this was much appreciated. I really hope this business stays here for a long, long time. They are amazing and a wonderful addition to this city.

Came here on a really hot Saturday even though the Long Beach area is NOT really cooler than Los Angeles. They have comfortable patio seating on the sidewalk where the street traffic is not threatening. Their menu is Mediterranean, which is a mix or Middle Eastern & Italian. Service was friendly but not very attentive. Had to go into restaurant to get ordered iced tea and then straws. My friend ordered the Lasagna($14), Iced Tea($2) and I got Lamb Chops w/roasted veggies with Tabbouleh Salad($20), and we shared the Calamari Fritti(($12). Quite reasonable prices. The Calamari were very good but the menu said they came with a SPICY marinara but it was just bland so they brought me some chili oil(surprise!) that was quite spicy & good. The Lamb Chops(3) were perfectly cooked and delicious but the Tabbouleh salad was not the traditional with bulgur and parsley but a variation w/semolina 'beads' and almost no parsley. To his credit, the owner(I assume) served our food and said no problem if I wanted to change the salad. Didn't taste it till he left and it was OK, a bit bitter, but I was enjoying the lamb chops and got full. My friends lasagna was a large portion but flavored differently that from an Italian place and she said it was just OK. She got a nice salad with it. I would go back for the lamb chops alone but there were other items on the menu I would like to try.

I may have written a review about Sebastian's Mediterranean Cuisine when it was located in a different downtown area of San Pedro. This review refers to the new location on 6th street - conveniently between the harbor and the Warner Grand Theater. This restaurant is SUPERB! I have eaten there several times over the past few weeks. The food is fresh and plentiful. I have my favorites - first being the Lentil Soup. This is the only place I have eaten lentil soup that didn't have tomato (I am allergic). It is hearty and the flavor is "just right"! Second is their appetizer sampler. We recently tried the three humus trio, buffalo cauliflower, Brussel sprouts that are cartelized, and falafel. Honestly, they are all equally as good! Plus the dish comes with a generous portion of warm pita and a. mini-salad. Next - the kabobs! The seafood / salmon kabob is cooked to perfection. The chicken one is very popular, as well. I frankly found them yummy for a bite or two but wanted to save room for other dishes. The falafel sandwich is absolutely the yummiest! And the greek salad is also a nice addition to any meal! Don't expect a fancy restaurant - it is not. But the food more than makes up for it! And the staff is amazing- very attentive but not overbearing! All in all - I give Sebastian's two thumbs up! Bring your appetite - there is much to enjoy here!
