Smashed mushroom + swiss burger / grilled mushrooms + onions, two plant-based patties, smoked vegan cheese, pickles, secret sauce, vegan bun. - 5 🌟! Thick-cut fries - 5 🌟! I am adjusting to a vegan/vegetarian lifestyle for health reasons, and I've started to explore the alternative meat burger landscape in LA. Smash Me Baby and their mushroom/Swiss burger was so good. It is easily one of the best vegan burgers I've had to date. I was astonished at how tasty it was. While beef can't really be replicated 100%, vegan burgers like this one don't even need to try to compare themselves to beef burgers anymore when they are this good. They have thick cut fries, which were nice and crispy and went well with the burger. They are in a strip mall so there is lots of parking. I was there to get a haircut next door, and I'm happy I gave them a try. It really was an awesome burger.

Truthfully, I've never been a fan of vegetarian/vegan burgers before coming to this place and I always thought burgers with vegan patties would be better with an actual beef patty (ie: Monty's and etcetera). The burgers here are incredible though and perfect as-is, and I'm happy I found a new place to reccomend to my vegan friends&family visiting me. I got the smashed truffle burger and every ingredient in it complimented eachother. The slight sweetness from the the onions, the creaminess from the aioli, the pull from the vegan cheese, the flavor of the burger, and the umami punch from the truffles/mushrooms... One burger is filling too, so you definitely get your money's worth. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to buy a few more and put myself into a food coma. Tell my mom I love her

Stopped by Smash Me Baby on my most recent work trip to LA and I’m so glad I did! I brought a friend who claims to hate vegan food and he absolutely loved everything we tried. I don’t know what Smash Me Baby’s secret is but their burgers do not taste like the stereotypical mushy vegan patties I’ve had before. Their secret sauce and truffle sauces are so good and pair nicely with all the burgers. It was my first time ordering from a kiosk like that but it was very user friendly. I loved the pop art decor and the giant cow in the middle of the restaurant. Overall the food was incredible, the price was decent and the staff was lovely. Can’t wait to go back to LA and get Smash Me Baby again!

Food was good, but the service was terrible.

Edit: I went back later in the day, and the service was better. I understand that there was a concert across the street, and many people had to use the restroom in either Dennys or here. However, one worker was incredibly rude to a group of teenage girls while standing in line for the restroom, giving them attitude and cussing at them under her breath. I don't think the girls had noticed, but I had since I was standing in line beside the worker. I think, since the policy was to buy something in order to use the restroom (there was a sign in front to alert people of this policy) and everyone in line had done that, there was no reason for this kind of behavior from the worker. The girls weren't loud or rude and had even bought food. Again, no need for attitude towards them. After the concert, the worker from earlier wasn't there and the atmosphere was better. The man who was handing out orders was nice and talkative, which is why I came back to change my review. Again, I understand it must have been stressful to have an influx of people due to the concert line, but giving potential customers an attitude is very...
